Maybe Gary should've done exactly that and parked his butt, because now it appears he's a victim once again (i myself think he gives as good as he gets and he comes out on top!)

James and Audley shared a dome, and argued in that dome for ages, they did not need to be separated.

That is exactly right.

What it boils down to is housemates saying that one housemate is more entitled or deserving to be there than another, essentially aportioning all blame onto the housemate they are not trying to 'protect'. It is appalling behaviour.

He has so many injuries, that it didn't stop him chasing a 27 year old around the house tickling him, then trying to barge a door down to get to him.. but suddenly he's fragile and desperately needed a seat to sit down right then and there.. the endless grasping is hysterical

I don't see it like that, i see it as being a grown up and respecting someones space when they need space, she was having a fag and just needed 10 minutes to calm down, if Gary had have sat next to her, he would've annoyed her even more, it doesn't make it right what they did, actually if you think about it Gary respected her wishes and came off the bigger person so he was the winner, and would probably think us all crazy arguing over a place to sit, remember there's no winner in an argument:laugh:

That's really not being fair is it? He had a sudden problem with his knee. These type of things do happen. Its one thing to say he is playing a game, but another to ridicule and chastise another human being who is in genuine difficulty. Personally, I think that is the problem that most of the housemates have. They can't differentiate between someone who has medical conditions and someone who is playing a game (as they all are, it is a game show) and they end up criticizing things that Gary can't do anything about, and making themselves look like complete twats.

I was talking about when Edele asked him not to sit somewhere, to allow everyone to calm down and for things to blow over... i didn't notice Gary mention anything about his knee at that point? he was walking and looked fine.

Definitely. I love Gary, but there's no way he is a victim.

I don't think Edele did anything wrong. In my view she was trying to stop something else from kicking off because she is probably sick listening to it. Also, she's a mum... I'm a mum... and I know I have needed to put my kids in different parts of the house at times to stop them from kicking off into an argument again.. so maybe it was that..

Gary didn't seem to mind either, so I think this subject is a non-issue really.

the truth 09-09-2014 01:51 PM

id love to see the reaction if busey was so petty and told dee she couldnt sit poolside......shed go berserk and threaten violence again and the sheep would support her

lily. 09-09-2014 01:52 PM

I think she's about to go berserk anyway.. she's on a slippery slope lol

I agree that this is a non issue;)

I do think Edele could have gone up to Gary and explained,do they have to belittle him at every opportunity, sometimes it's not what people say but how they say it,she could have done that in a more kinder and subtle way,she was just caring about Dee in that and not Gary.

Good point! If Gary told Dee not to sit by him she would say...

"Gary! I'll sit where I please! Who are you to tell others where they can, and can't sit!"

Almost the exact words.

I will never forget that pool incident, Leslie saying this is my pool, someone else telling Gary that he had no right to be there and Stephanie telling him to leave her Leslie alone. How did they ever get away with that, there was quite a few around that pool. He was made to feel inadequate when he had already been told that noone liked him.

He should not have been told to go away from the seat, he told someone beforehand that he was going to sit out there. Once again he was made to feel inadequate. Audley bless him, had the right attitude when he told Dee to include Gary and not to let the rest of them make him feel unwanted. Not the exact words but that was what he meant. I hope that Gary realises afterwards what a friend Audley has been to him. Would love to think that Gary takes him to his hometown. All sitting around Dee the queen mama bee as though she needed comforting. Fingers down throat jobby. Edelle is sugar sweet but behind his back or near him she has bitched. The only decent thing she did for him was to let him have his letter.

I would like to think that Lauren stays tomorrow and that it is Ricci and Dee or Edelle. Mind you James would be a thousand times better imo. Dee and James......

Marsh. 09-09-2014 02:24 PM

Dee was the one who wanted space so should have been the one to move around the house and avoid people. Not cordon off areas of the house and tell Gary he can't enter them.

If she doesn't want to be near someone then she should move.
