I think we've already reached the conclusion that the other housemates (Audley excluded) are a bunch of slithering, poisonous, hypocritical, inconsistent, bullying, tawdry, nasty, insincere, superficial, untrustworthy, deceitful, weak, unprincipled and dishonest flotsam of humanity.

That's me trying to see their more positive qualities.

Let's flip it. Say it was Gary who had lost someone he liked and said to James 'he was a nice guy' and James says' he was boring' and 'he's gone now' showing no sympathy at all. And Gary had said 'I wish you had gone' and walked off. This thread wouldn't be about how awful Gary was to do that but still about how brilliant Gary was to say that to James and it would be all :cheer2: That's why I hardly post here anymore. It's just ridiculous - and I like both James and Gary but can see when both of them are right or wrong.

Gary never said he was boring as his opinion jet he said he was voted the most boring in todays task by the public

Didnt he just say that he was voted boring as in the task of today? he then inferred that it was in the past. Cant look again it is to late but nothing was meant by the remark. Actually I would have liked James to go and not Lauren but there we are that is in the past as well. Time for bed  Tbh at this late stage in the game and knowing what Gary has had to put up with from James, I dont really blame him for putting his view forward but there we are James had to make a fuss, with anyone else he would have debated it.

Yes, I watched it back. Does it make a difference though? He was still lacking in understanding and sensitivity and it would have been nice to see him sympathizing with James about Ricci going. Not that James has much sensitivity, but I can see that Gary isn't great in that department either whereas quite a lot here can't or won't admit it.
Gary is a great HM, but his 'goodness' is highly over rated. I have yet to see him do a practical kindness for anyone in the house. He talks about 'love and understanding' but talk is cheap.

Aw bless, the rate they are going though they will be lucky if they have 500 viewers soon.

Josy 11-09-2014 12:22 AM

Well imo yes it does make a difference as that was Gary's way of explaining the reason for ricci leaving yes he was a bit abrupt with the comment but James as usual has to try and say the nastiest thing he can think of in reply.

On the other hand perhaps he was trying to strike up a conversation re the task? James is far to busy though now trying to get in between George and Edelle. He has to be part of the limelight.

Why do people avoid answering the point of my post re the situation being reversed?

Why would he sympathise and lament over someone who called him disgusting, took cheap shots about his family and called him a poor role model. Or more importantly, why should he?

Absolutely. But why would he go over to James who he knew liked him and wind him up?

He didn't they were walking away from the stairs and James was prattling on about why could anyone have possibly not voted for Ricci and Gary was just stating fact, well he was voted the most boring in the task. He was, maybe that is a good indication he wasn't that popular outside. Naturally James has to be nasty. It was a conversation but every time Gary opens his mouth he is misinterpreted. James need to chill the **** out.

jaxie 11-09-2014 12:36 AM

If James comes on to my tv in any show in the future tv goes over or off. I don't ever want to see his face again after Friday and hear his insufferable voice.

Okay, so Gary had to go over to James and explain the reason for Ricci leaving because James wouldn't possibly know already. And Gary was just 'a bit abrupt' whereas James 'has to say the nastiest thing he can think of'. I get it.

mary poppins 11-09-2014 12:37 AM

I'm afraid you'll be waiting.. Gary is never wrong according to people..I understand what.your saying.

No you clearly dont get it.

Gary's point was that if someone was voted mist boring then they were probably the most obvious choice to be evicted.

You still don't see what Gary's doing? Blessed are the innocent.
Yesterday most agreed he was a big wind up merchant and was playing them all like violins and there was much of this :cheer2: and this :dance:/ Now today he's just a poor old victim again. .. WTF. Talk about nuts...

mary poppins 11-09-2014 12:45 AM

Yes it does make sense.. Most.people think Gary is always in the right..I can't stand James but Gary was very dismissive of how
his feelings.

Which James wouldn't know already? Then he tells him he's gone, which James wouldn't know either.

You really can't see Gary was stirring, can you?
