I agree with that. Regardless of what party the PM represents and whether or not you agree with his politics, the Premier has to be protected. And yes, the idea that this person was a jogger and it was all a big mistake is ridiculous. I was surprised at how inept his security was, they were taken completely by surprise and at one point Cameron was totally alone and exposed as he made for the car with his security agents at least five or six feet away. I hope there have been some red-faces and reprimands since this happened. Next time it might not be a "drug filled halfwit" (LOL, good description) but someone a bit more serious with a bigger axe to grind.
