It's started... and we haven't lost a wicket yet.... come on boys

Jay 24-11-2006 11:42 PM

Yeah, so far so good.

Dan_ 24-11-2006 11:46 PM

Pietersen out, damn.

Boycott and Blowers should commentate all night :cheer:

Jay 24-11-2006 11:47 PM

 Pieterson's out

Red Moon 24-11-2006 11:47 PM

Lets hope we can keep it up until lunch. We need to stay in as long as possible.

Dan_ 24-11-2006 11:49 PM

I'm thinking we wont make it past 400 to avoid the follow on.

Red Moon 24-11-2006 11:51 PM

It only takes a couple of hundreds from a couple of players and we should make it. Here is hoping they can do it.

Jay 24-11-2006 11:52 PM

Flintoff's gone

Dan_ 24-11-2006 11:52 PM

Flintoff out for a duck, we are well and truly stuffed.

Jay 24-11-2006 11:53 PM

Not even past the 100 mark and already 5 wicket's gone.

Red Moon 24-11-2006 11:55 PM

Oh Hell... I knew I shouldn't have turned the radio on!

Dan_ 25-11-2006 12:04 AM

It's worth listening only for the legend that is Blowers.

We are in serious trouble though :cloud:.May aswell write this test off now.

~Kizwiz~ 25-11-2006 12:15 AM

Oh god... sorry but Reds making me listen to it now :bawling:

Okay we will take the Cricket with us.

Red Moon 25-11-2006 08:44 AM

Send for the England A-Team..... they can't do any worse.

In fact if the Austrians carry on and get about 260 runs in their second innings, that will give them a lead of 700 runs just before lunch. Then they can put England into bat and it will all be over by the end of the day.

Then the real headache will start for England. How to pick themselves up in time for the second test.

[i]BTW - it was the largest margin in test history when the follow-on was not applied.[i]

Dan_ 25-11-2006 11:43 AM

We are being well and truly thrashed.Vaughan, Trescothick and Simon Jones are big misses.

Hoggard and Flintoff seem like the only bowlers who are really going to test the Aussie's attack.I would give Monty a go next text, he cannot do much worse. If Harmison and Anderson continue to underperform we may aswell replace them, what's the use in having out of form players?

Here we go again.... Day 4

Let me know what scorecard you like and I will post daily updates, the first one or the second one in the table?

Red Moon 25-11-2006 11:51 PM

Australia Declare

England need 648 runs to win the game, or to bat for 2 Days to save the game.

Current score England 3-0

looks like I was wrong I expected them to declare when they had a lead of about 700

Red Moon 26-11-2006 12:15 AM

England 24-0 and possible thunder storms tomorrow.

Red Moon 26-11-2006 12:30 AM

Silly batting mistake by Strauss.... hooked a ball and was caught.

England 29-1

Here we go again... I hope not

Red Moon 26-11-2006 12:42 AM

There goes Bell lbw.

England 36-2

Onward they go... at least there are 4 more test matches
