Alright this is gonna make me sound like I'm 7 years old but Fleur fans did start it during week 3 when both had ropey performances, Lauren fans accepted that while Fleur fans was making out that she was superb and how she showed up everybody else in the competition (especially Lauren) some was saying on DS.

DS is completely different to TiBB so I'm not sure what you're suggesting :shrug:

If that's why you dislike Fleur so much then I feel sorry for you tbh... you should judge an act based on themselves, not who their fans are.

I was actually not even intending this to start off as a thread about how Fleur was way more pimped than Lauren because she was in Simon's category, in fact I was trying to help her fans as they obviously want to see her release good Music and being successful, but if you want her stuck in the 80's/90's and tank after her winners single and make Lauren the only success story in the charts after the series is over then that's upto you I guess.

The only way the winners will start being successful now is for Simon to start appreciating talented and contempary artists on the show, and also stop making everybodys fans start turning on each other as whoever wins then has half the audience in outrage at their victory, he especially did it this year by the time we had hit the top 7 or 8.

Realistically Fleur is the only person that will probably do really well beyond the show. Whether she wins or not, she fits in with the music industry here really well and will no doubt be a success.

Ben I cannot see getting anywhere (although I do like him). Andrea won't get anywhere in the UK, maybe a mothers day album or something like that will get some low key interest. If he gets taken on by the right record label I can see him being shipped to America, he fits in far more with their music culture and I could imagine him being a massive hit there.

And also Fleur being pimped by the production to force people into liking her is different to Jake making the public like him by playing the game on a Gameshow.

And I have enjoyed a lot of the performances this year, but I hate how fixed it is and how they've made it that whoever wins the show will now bomb in the charts because the two natural picks from everyone on here, DS, Facebook, Twitter, and with the general public was derailed in favour of two of Simon's Overs which will build resentment now on whoever wins out of them two and the derailed Andrea.

I know, it's not an even playing field. But Andrea will have the last laugh. Talent always wins in the end. Tonight he has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and the crowd were all blown away. :cheer2:

It's not a level playing field, and I'll probably will still be called bitter even though Andrea isn't even my favourite of this years contestants, I'm just pointing out what other people would be pointing out if it was someone like Andrea, Jay, or SK getting the same treatment.

But I still got attacked earlier today on another thread when I actually was sticking up for Fleur so I can't really win here it seems.

well you do come across bitter and nobody attacked you atall so it looks as though you can dish it out but cant take it , we're all on here discussing the show

im pretty sure if Lauren was the most talked about on this forum and praised like how Fleur is being praised then you would prefer it and you'd be happier
