I didn't believe it before but if she plays it right, she could win it. There isn't much to go against her at the moment. She is by far the most intelligent one in there and she will be analysing and see very little competition.

I hope she is entertaining in there but i fear her TV persona will fade away soon enough and she'll blend into nothingness.Also why the hell did BB tell her to be nice??That's not what we wanna see.

Katie has put herself above and insulted many parts of our society chuff and in my humble opinion this is NOT TO BE LAUDED. Being bitchy is one thing and bitches can be entertaining but her rants about fat people being lazy and eating half the contents of the fridge, red haired people being ugly, unemployed people also being lazy are just NOT ON. I have several friends with red hair whom I love dearly and I think are really pretty, I have two friends that are overweight, one because of medical issues and the other because she has had so much to deal with in her life but she is currently turning everything around. I have a friend who has been unemployed with a year and a half and has done close to 70 interviews in that time but because she is 40 she feels that its holding her back. Katie has insulted my friends with her comments and I am sure she has insulted a great percentage of people . She is VILE AND HORRIBLE and if anyone thinks she is great I am just wondering WHY they feel that way

Some time back we had 2 of the most horrible idiots in the world on our programme, Speidi, however the very same people against Katie now, were pro them. Is there any difference here or are we just tailoring hatred to suit our own aims. If I had the choice of choosing someone who was outspoken or someone who was downright nasty, I would chose in favour of a Katie type all day long.

A fan of Hopkins telling someone else to "rein in" their "hate" and "bitterness". Really? A supporter of one of the most hateful and bitter women currently in the public eye?

And "superstar"? She's far from that, as she always will be.

"Being honest" is such an overused (and, frankly, weak) defence of nastiness. Yes, KH is horrible, and the world would be more "awful" with more people like her.

Ugh Im still haunted by speidi the mere mention of them breaks me out in hives! lol I would like to think that to put yourself down before others still allows you to be outspoken instead of tearing down everyone for the sake of entertainment - the ability to laugh at ones own self to make others smile surely is a much nicer thing than tearing apart anything she considers 'beneath her/unimportant etc (or any other dreadful words she may use to tar everyone with the same brush) we can all be outspoken but we don't have to be degrading everything that may breathe air!

There is a world of difference between supporting a HM that makes the show watchable and being a fan of her in real life. I doubt anyone on here sees her as a role model, I think its her values and willingness to speak her mind that is giving her kudos. There is a slight difference which is very easy to twist into hero worship to suit the aims of those that hate her.

It's the exact same difference Charlie Brooker pointed out between Keith Lemon and Dapper Laughs. Whereas Speidi were nasty, they were nasty in a "pantomime" sense, you knew they were completely harmless. Whereas Katie Hopkins is actually trying to portray herself as a vile vicious person in a much realer sense. I mean come on, nobody actually believed Speid were genuinely evil people, right? Their anger was aimed at the other housemates, Katie's anger is aimed blindly at everyone who differs from her.

I'm not twisting a thing to "suit my aims". I don't need to. The repugnant things KH says are more than enough to back up my opinion.

And you might find that the OP called her a "superstar". The definition of "hero worship" is excessive admiration, I think using that term to describe her fits 100%. Again, no twisting by me needed, it's already there.

She will be good to watch it has to be admitted, but jeeez, she's going to annoy the nipples right of me tits.

Superstar in the context of the show maybe.

Superstar in CBB ,she will be remembered in years to come as one the best hm8s ever IMO
