I met him as well that night with Nizzy:laugh: and I can confirm everything she has said. Anthony is one of the nicest, down to earth people you could meet, and he went out of his way to come over and speak to us.
I think celebs are booked for about an hour at these PAs and most leave soon after they have fulfilled their duties of posing for photos and signing autographs. Not Anthony, as Nizzy says he was dancing until the early hours:banana:

I saw Anthony last night, and he has ditched John Noel, as he wasn't happy with them.

I think John Noel tried to push him into presenting, which Ant admitted himself he is not cut out to do.
John Noel advised him not to do The Match, but he ignored them, and it proved to be a good move for him, winning man of the match two years running.
Apart from a few tv appearances JNM failed to find him anything else. Since he has left them and moved back up to the NE, he has got himself a part in the New World production of The Wizard of Oz in Newcastle, without the help of an agent, and he has other work lined up for the future.
