I don't think the question should be who are the favourites here but rather, who was in the wrong.

It's sounding all so childish at the moment, looking for someone to blame, pointing the fingers.. but the best thing for everyone is to just move on and forget about this supposed 'conspiracy'.

You've misrepresented the point about that word (coupled with the :bored: smiley) - it's not the word just the fact it was being used (on occasion) sarcastically towards people who weren't 'in' on the joke.

And yet we let you call people 'sore-losers' and 'embarrassing' on another thread today.

Just like comments above don't provoke people. Like I said I can always check through last nights threads again and issue some more warnings.

I'm saying how come other people don't get warnings/bans for saying WORSE stuff. I keep bringing it up and it keeps getting pushed away, and there is no answer given.
Instead I get things which I said in the past!!

Hmm, i apologised, it was intended as a joke, tounge in cheek remark but was taken in the wrong way, stemming from an incident with you where again you didn't get i was being sarcastic.

You say i 'look for arguements' but here you are pro-longing things that are in the past! Today is a new day, why hold grudges? Move on...

I must say I'm getting slightly miffed at how a few people keep going over these moderating decisions with a fine tooth comb, trying to pick out 'inconsistencies'.

Firstly, moderators might not see every post and can't deal with things they don't see.

Secondly, posts have to taken in context - if someone snaps back with an insult after he or she is attacked it is not as bad as if they made the insult out of the blue, and started an argument.

Thirdly, we try to avoid giving warnings and bans if possible. It is only a last resort and you have to give new members some leeway.

Fourthly, there is no exact science to moderating - you can only do what you feel is right.

Fifthly, there is no fifthly.

As I said before if everyone stuck to the rules, didn't make personal remarks, reported offending posts instead of responding on the thread, used the ignore button etc. no-one would be warned!

If people are getting warnings it means the rules of the forum are being broken, and they only have themselves to blame.

Because I've promised to stay loyal to people who feel the same way! And theres a few.
I didn't know it was a joke. It didn't sound like one, so I didn't take it as a joke!

Partly because we waited to see if things would fizzle out and they didn't. We started issuing the warning when things started to get out of hand again. If we had started issuing warnings straight away you would have got one which I'm sure you are aware of.

I think it's time this was dropped for the good of the site. What is in the past is in the past. Time to move on.

Well I just feel as if its a a select few which are watched.

Yeah I understand, its a hard job to moderate, but if your going to ban people, try and ban the right ones!
For example.. somebody started a huge arguement and they got away with nothing!

Argh seriously, who cares. You keep saying your speaking for these people.... where are they?! I can't exactly see them lining up behind you shouting 'girl power' and 'power to the people' holding banners and protesting.

Not true. Last night I warned a lot of people I can normally trust not start argument or carry them on.

As for the member you talk of. I know I sent them a U2U to asking them to stop arguing and they came into the lounge to find out, from the members in there, what they had done wrong.

We do things behind the scenes. We don't like warning people. You only see half the story on the board.
