Do you not get what I mean though? Yes he seems very camp and "gay" it's his whole "thing" and he doesn't seem bothered at all that people think he's gay, infact he plays on it (with Simon on BGT etc) so why would he pretend not to be gay in his personal life? What difference would it make?

if he wants to be worldwide famous, he kinda has to be straight

I don't think he's gay, his whole act is 'gay', so if he really was then it's not like people would think any differently of him or his whole career would be over because that's essentially how he makes his living. It doesn't make sense that he would be so ashamed to the extent that he would marry a woman to try and cover it.

I agree, with you and Livia. Unless of course it's like a double bluff from David.

yeah, it seems alot, but there are hundreds and hundreds of famous people. Most of them who are gay are in the closet.

Also, like 3 or 4 of those people havent come out and some of them have even gone back in the closet.

Please dont try and tell me that celebs being gay is an okay thing, because really, it's not. I may not know a lot, but I know a hell of a lot about hollywood.

But lots of of them are people who went through most of their careers in the closet and have only just come out now, which has got to be a sign of at least some things changing. But then there are still rumours of certain actors/actresses around today having their sexuality hidden up to keep their careers, which I guess is your point. Not that I can think of anyone who's come out recently who's had their career ruined by it.

Yeah, it's definitely getting better. We just need more and more celebs to come out, but it's pretty hard when a lot of the world is still homophobic and you can literally killed for being gay.

Im sorry if it sounded like I was having a go, but yeah, I just get annoyed when people act like celebs can come out really easily. If you work for certain companies, the can actually ban you from coming out too. It's not that simple at all.

I think nowadays in the entertainment industary especially it makes no difference at all if people are gay, especially in the UK where Davids career actually is. His comedy business partner is openly gay and it hasn't harmed his career any
