Build a bigger bridge, or more bridges, or seperate the land fill roads from the industrial and have a bridge leading to each!

So it wouldn't be overwhelming if I haven't played a game like it before?

Hmm, I think there is probably a tutorial in game that will walk you through everything

Also, the video I liked at the top all those years ago is a pretty good guide, and funny lol

James 04-02-2020 06:02 PM

I just learned it as I went - didn't see any tutorial, apart from the tips at the start - which is a lot to go through.

I watch this guy's videos lol - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYz...Xc2UJQD5bIo8AQ

Some of my industries - but not others - don't have enough workers. The advice I read was you reduce education in your city?

I think you gotta sort of balance it, have both educated and uneducated workers in your city

I built like 4 massive bridges but they all try to use the same one. I feel like it's time to start a new city with better planning :joker:

tbf you can take it as slow as you want, you can have a tiny village with a few houses so long as the income is balanced and it'll just look after itself until you deliberately "scale up"... just don't try to scale up too fast and end up with approx. 70 garbage trucks stuck on a bridge

The AI will make them take the fastest route so that’s why

Glenn. 04-02-2020 08:59 PM

I always build my Bus and Garbage way out of the main population centres. I also zone little bits of industry dotted about. I don’t put it in one area because the traffic is dire. It helps if the industry has access to a highway too.

Scarlett. 04-02-2020 09:06 PM

The traffic can be quite a pain lol

btw, James when you next check this thread could you edit out the "Natrual disasters" bit as its outdated xD

I started a new city and it has the landfills down in the bottom corner, 6-lane road running down to it, which then branches off into the actual town. It's so efficient and beautiful :flutter:
