If there is then I say that one.

and labour weren't lol....they were involved in the most illegal war in british history, they oversaw the ruination of the bank fo England, wasted the gold, ruined the nhs, implemented over 3000 mostly petty laws, endless petty rules and regs too....they rolled over to sell us out to Europe. They oversaw enormous mostly unaffordable population growth.....endless massive cover ups in local government, central government, stinking councils and nhs corruption and mass cruelty and incompetence. they oversaw the housing collapse, the stock market collapse, the gap between rich and poor became the biggest and widest for 200 years...they destroyed families, rewarded breeding for benefits and worklessness. the proceeded to hammer the working people , oh and they left the country virtually bankrupt.
id take a fascist dictator over that lot of crooks

I agree, Winston Churchill would be turning in his grave if he could see the utter shambles that passes for Cabinet Ministers nowadays.

A bunch of rich but still greedy posh public school educated elitist rabble who are only in politics because they are bored and it's cheaper than joining a gentlemens club.

Out of touch, clueless disinterested, uncaring bunch of toffs who think all of this is a real hoot..............

Have we to have a retrospective of how previous governments have failed in their governance every time a question is posed?...
Even I'm getting bored, they've both had failings some more spectacular than others however this isn't in discussion here.

FOR THE HOG

By Jove Hog though you still wax lyrical.
Your poetry now all smacks political.
Personally I love this change you've made
Especially your support of 'Boris The Blade'.

Forget George and that Theresa floosie
Go with Boris 'cos he looks like Busey.
In fact there's more comparisons to be had,
Cos just like Gary he's stark staring mad.

Mad and funny with a mane of blond hair
Boris Busey should be PM not just the Mayor
If he's not so smart who gives a fuck
That means he's too dumb to be a crook.

We've had enough of PM's who were phoney
Like Brown and Major and Tory poster Boy Tony.
"Boris Wins The Election" - The scoop of all scoops
With nothing but Love and Rectangle Monkey Hoops!

So come on Hog and crusade with your pen,
And get Boris Busey into Number Ten.
Raise your quill, and mount your chariot
And you'll end up Britain's Poet laureate!

Boris for next Tory leader... in fact I've been saying that since last General Election. And frankly, I'd rather have a Labour government than see Theresa May as Tory leader. The women is a liability. How she's lasted this long is an enigma.

Add to his bumbling way and stupid hair do the fact that he's startlingly intelligent and brilliantly educated and the other two in the frame look like the morons they are.

He might disagree but he's a nasty peice of work...

'Boris Johnson was left writhing on live television as he was accused of lying over an alleged extra-marital affair, fabricating quotes and agreeing to help a friend with a plot to get someone beaten up.
Mr Johnson, widely considered a potential successor to David Cameron, looked distinctly uncomfortable as he was grilled about past misdemeanours on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show.

This vid is missing from the article, but here it is...

From 7.40 or skip to 10mins in for the reeeeally nasty stuff.

I stand by Shaun's earlier post re Boris Johnson......very likeable affable roguish buffoon. Good at comparing TV quiz shows, but PM and running the Country

Really.........that's our top statesman and diplomat, that's our representative on the World stage...???

Can't see it, he looks more like a whoopee cushion salesman than a high ranking cabinet minister.

I was only joking about Boris, you know, using 'artistic licence' for my 'poem' to make him more 'Busey-like' - I know that Boris is highly intelligent and I have been a fan of his for years and would also like to see him as the next PM.

As for Theresa May, well I think she may have the Edwina factor. In a Major way.

yes. i agree with most things he says but encouraging political apathy is not one of them.

he said "if there was a party like SYRIZA in the uk, i would vote for them"

well, there is a new party that was formed in 2013 called 'Left Unity' which is linked to 'Party of the European Left' (led by Alex Tsipiras, leader of SYRIZA)

soooo awkward russell. you lost that one.

joeysteele 25-03-2015 10:19 AM

Aah I was almost excited, I thought he was going to say he wouldn't serve a 2nd term.

Typical that he makes a statement, a question then follows as to when he would actually stand down and then loads of questions with speculation go on and on in the media circus.

Anyway, Theresa May would in my view be even worse than Cameron, how this woman has remained Home Secretary though this parliament is a mystery to me.
She is probably the worst ever home secretary, just marginally worse than Jacqui Smith in the last govt:

Osborne, yeah elect him and have the Conservatives in the doldrums for likely decades.
Boris, would be funny to watch but he would make a betetr deputy than actual PM in my view.

For me however,if I was a Conservative supporter, I would like to see Michal Gove,he is a more concensus type politician and comes across as reasonable to debate with.
