i disagree. she didn't target all jews in a general sense, she made an offensive remark about 1 woman. she wasn't encouraging anyone to attack to discriminate against jews. and she didn't target this woman BECAUSE she was jewish, she targeted her because she is a specific public figure. a hate crime is targeting someone BECAUSE they are a minority. i don't think she did that in this case.

This is where I draw the line with the motormouth, it's one thing to speak your mind and to have controversial opinions; It's entirely another to take the genocide of your ancestry and use it as a tool for online mockery.

As for her not targeting this women because she is Jewish, I'm afraid I do not 'buy' that. Hopkins is an intelligent woman who makes a lucrative living by commenting on 'Current Affairs', and as such she is well aware that Mrs Milliband is Jewish - which is the only possible logical reason for the 'gas oven' reference. Why 'gas oven' when there a hundred other methods that Hopkins could have selected from to suggest that Milliband could 'dispose' of his wife - even in a jocular context.

No - Hopkins has now lost any credibility she may have had (highly debatable) and deserves to be forced back under the rock she slithered out from when she artfully chose a 'Reality TV Show' as a springboard to fame and fortune.

I don't know about how she sees herself,I just cannot understand how she can even look at herself.
If I said the things she did, I would hate looking at myself in a mirror, I would be wondering how I came to be so vile, twisted and vindictive.

To me she is just one of the absolute worst possible and irrelevant human beings in existence.
