But i didn't say that she 'encouraged' anti-Semitism Alex, I said her offensive remarks could be latched onto by anti-Semitic cretins to legitimise and justify their own hate speech and actions.
As for her not targeting this women because she is Jewish, I'm afraid I do not 'buy' that. Hopkins is an intelligent woman who makes a lucrative living by commenting on 'Current Affairs', and as such she is well aware that Mrs Milliband is Jewish - which is the only possible logical reason for the 'gas oven' reference. Why 'gas oven' when there a hundred other methods that Hopkins could have selected from to suggest that Milliband could 'dispose' of his wife - even in a jocular context.
No - Hopkins has now lost any credibility she may have had (highly debatable) and deserves to be forced back under the rock she slithered out from when she artfully chose a 'Reality TV Show' as a springboard to fame and fortune.
