We didn't play it in school though, I used to play it with a group of summer friends in this place I used to go on holidays every year. We called it Winker and when you were accusing someone, you had to say "Are you the Winker" which was always hilarious when we played with a couple of friends we had from Northern Ireland

Everyone shut their eyes and the teacher tapped someone on the shoulder and they had to go and stand at the front of the class and say 'squashed tomatoes' in a weird voice then the teacher would pick three people to guess who it was who said squashed tomato.

Does anyone remember fruit bowl also and what's the time mister wolf?

Everyone sits in a circle and the teacher shouts 'Anyone with a sibling' or 'Anyoje with brown or green eyes' for example and everyone with a brother or sister or brown and green eyes etc had to run to another chair in time from a person who stood up and ran into the centre also but the teacher would take out a chair each time leaving just two people at the end then the teacher tells both people to go to each side of the room and leaves one chair in the middle when the teacher shouts go you both run whoever gets the chair first wins.

We also had 'Escape!' Where somebody sat on a chair in circle and someone stood above them with their hands behind their back when the teacher shouted your name so for example 'Lucia!' You had to try and run to the teacher but if the person you where with tapped you on the shoulder before you could escape to the teacher you were eliminated.

Our teachers used to call it Sleeping Indians and to this day I still have no idea why

Anyone remember Golden Time?

Best thing ever, on Fridays.
When the teacher would write the letters of GOLDEN TIME on the whiteboard, and whenever the class misbehaved, one letter would be rubbed out. If there was none by the end of the week, we were to be punished. Come to think of it, the punishments were crap looking back. No milk and fruit, or something. :joker:

It's like the no hairdryers punishment housemates get these days, on Big Brother.
