Yeah, I don't tend to hold back when something is annoying me.

You all know how much I love this place. I practically live here, but FFS.. when stuff starts to get outta hand, I just need to say my piece regardless of who likes it and who doesn't.

If we're going by MY definition, those threads are not pointless. They have replies, and therefore discussion is taking place. Just like here.

Well, we are all entitled to our own opinion, and we obviously don't share the same opinion when it comes to this issue. However, I have explained why it was best not to post this in the "rant" thread. Threads do have a tendency to get locked when I do this.

Maybe that should tell you something then?

Well if they are continuing to happen that means the admin aint bothering trying to stop them. Either they have and sh..this person hasn't listened or as I said, they haven't bothered. You're persuasive, I think you should. =]

It tells me that freedom of speech aint a privilege we have as members.

It tells me that people will yak about this in MSN and in U2U but don't have the balls to come out and say it in open.

It tells me that the mods would rather have crappy inane threads than have an upstart like me speak out against them.

Oh come on, why this argument again? I personally don't think they're pointless, there is a point to them all. The laptops one for example is to ask for help about it or something along those lines. Infact, i was going to use it to ask for help about mine which has been broke for a few months so i found a use for it, it's not pointless is it?

I just don't understand why people make a big deal about it.

Also, there are certain members in here 'nodding and agreeing' when every other one of their posts is a 'lol' or an emotion. There are more pointless posts than anything on the forum.

I don't think it's fair though as it's just another thread at a certain member IMO as there are soo many other threads that could be classed as 'pointless' on the forum but the 'selected few' where all about the same member.

I just personally didn't think there was a 'point' in this thread as it's going to turn into another 'closed thread' and have a forum member thinking everything they write is pointless.

The member you're speaking of, for the most part - has stuck to those rules.
