I'm slightly half and half with the death penalty. I feel like it's the easy way out, but I also think that they are a waste of money/space/whatever... I have absolutely no sympathy for him. I don't have sympathy for people getting what they deserve. If that makes me a sick monster, then so be it.

Generally i'm not for the death penalty but when it comes to murderous terrorists i am.A tough example needs to be made of these evil bastards.If you go soft on terrorism it will only encourage more terrorism.They need to know that if they wanna commit mass murder then they will pay the ultimate price.

Could they not just put him in a room and set off the kind of bomb he and his brother set off at the marathon and have him live life as an amputee like so many of his victims?

Oh yes the death penalty , US style... Convict a person sometimes on flaky evidence then incarcerate them for 20-25 years whilst they become fully rehabilitated and have paid for their crimes ....... Then take the person and strap him to an electric chair and push 40,000 volts through their body...

They should put him in a dark room for the rest of his life and just feed him bread + water. That would be a more severe punishment.
