Like Power Trip having 'Power' twists, that was unnecessary for the most part, and also on launch night Power Trip having areas of the house closed off with only 'special access' permitted, then a week later the barriers were removed and the whole special access thing never happened throughout the whole summer.
Visually it's far better than the generic themes C5 churned out. Although anything beyond that starts to get tacky.

I agree with your first point. The themes do make the graphics look much better. Compare the BB13 graphics to the BB15 graphics, for instance.
I partly agree with your second point. I think they should stop having twists that surround the theme, as it never works out, and pretty much all twist has the same outcome, regardless of what theme. So and so is nominated for eviction, etc, etc.
That being said, I thought Power Trip was an amazing theme, but was executed appallingly.
I didn't mind having a 'Power' theme each week, but what the producers did was keep making changes and twists within twists, which tarnished the quality.
The theme was too "nomination" based, every single week. which became manipulated and boring.
If it was up to me, I would change almost every week and a come up with better twists each week, which didn't mess with nominations.
This way they could actually use the theme throughout the series.
One o my ideas would've been to have two power housemates competing for the Ultimate Power, the following week.
The two PH's choose people to join their team, and they battle it out, in a Turf War's style task throughout the week, and the housemates can only nominate people on the opposing team.
The loosing team will automatically face eviction, the next week, and will be stripped of a luxury shopping budget, whilst the winning team are exempt, and live in luxury. The house will still be divided, this time, into a Rich / Poor divide, with the winning team on the rich, and vice versa.
I genuinely think this would've made an fantastic alternative to the ghastly Armageddon Week, or even another week.
Tasks deciding the housemates fate, instead of new housemates or Power Housemates.
In BB15, it was all the same. The housemate with the Power, decides who is up. All they did was change the names slightly.
Week 1 - Pauline's killer
nomination and pass to the final
Week 2 - Chris's
nominations
Week 3 - Power Couple vetoing
nominations
Week 4 - Girl Power take over
nominations
Week 6 - Two
evictions without public vote. Housemates deciding who gets
evicted.
Week 7 - Power Alliance decide who
faces eviction by process of elimination
Week 8 - Immune from
eviction.
Out of the 10 weeks, only 3 of them didn't include meddling with nominations or evictions.
Says it all, really.
