Originally before the Early May launch rumors arose, I would've put money on the launch being Thursday 4th June.

Not so sure now, still think it'll launch in May, but if it doesn't. Then I guess it will launch around the same time Power Trip launched last year, which was on 5 June.

I'm sure I read something that said if the launch were to be in June, it'd start around the time that BB14 did (mid-June) rather than in the first week.

Yeah, Jarrod told me that, after CBB15 finished, a couple months ago.

He said somewhere around Wednesday 10th June.
I took it with a pinch of salt though, and then a couple of weeks later, we got the Early May rumors.

I highly doubt it will launch anywhere near the 7th May.

A) They wouldn't risk it, as it will kill the ratings, for the first week.
B) That's like two weeks away, and we still haven't got the eye or anything. If it were to launch on the 7th, we'd have gotten something, back in early April.

Might I just point out that the first BB14 eye was only revealed 3 weeks before launch. So technically it could still launch on like 13th May.

I'm up for either a Wednesday 13th May or Wednesday 20th May Launch.
I'd like it to launch on a Wednesday this year, I'm kind of bored of Thursday launches, as it's been the same since BB14.

I loved BB13, best series on C5, with BB14.

But god that launch was awful.
Tacky and trashy doesn't even describe it. I wasn't a fan of the Tuesday launch, it didn't feel right, and it gave them time for an eviction the Friday of the same week, which was a bad mistake, IMO.

I would've preferred they waited a day, and launched on Wednesday 6th June 2012, or even Thursday 7th June.

But hey, it almost reached 3M, which is far more than what we can expect now, so fair play.

I share every one of your opinions! Mid-may seems like the right time.

What I'd like them to do instead of the 2-night launch is to put 10 in on launch night and then another 6 in the following week. It would be interesting to see how the dynamics change with such a large group coming in.

And I agree, Monday and Tuesday launches are a big no-no! The lines are too blurred on whether the time between the launch and first Friday count as a 'week'.

Although i feel as though I can't wait, the 20th May would be the best I think.

And also I saw a clip of the BB13 launch twist and it just seems like the lamest things ever. Deana's reasons were embarrassing but there would be no way she'd have been able to come up with anything better!

20th sounds better, as it's not too early, and not too late.

I just want every single one of the 14 housemates to enter the house, on Day 1, TBH.
No split-launch, and no housemates entering later in the week. Add 3 new housemates in Week 3 or 4, to add some new blood.

Hopefully they won't have another split-launch this year, as it rated so badly last year.

They can even make the launch night two hours instead of an hour and a half, like they did for CBB14, and CBB15 so they can fit in all the 14-16 housemates as well as some time for the obligatory god-awful TWIST THAT WILL ROCK THE HOUSE TO IT'S OUTER CORE!!!!! :joker:
