T* 24-04-2015 07:11 PM

Blagger got their news from The Daily Star who had no sources for their article. Channel 5 aren't stupid enough to move a show that rates well like THI to another date where it might rate lower.

And I'd prefer a June launch as well, Tom.

maybe they have made bb show at 10pm's on friday or something
I like the early june ones because it's near my birthday and is a good present

10pm for launch would be stupid because they would have to pre-record it by over half an hour which would annoy a hell of a lot of people on Twitter and here.

Jarrod, could I ask how you know it won't launch in the last two weeks of May? Reading back, you seemed to just jump from 14th May to 4th June.

Of course! I came to this because The Hotel Inspector runs on Thursday evenings at 9pm until May 28th, which would block the Thursday night launch. Friday's are currently showing new NCIS: New Orleans and that should be around about finished by 4th June too, meaning Thursday and Friday are both free, and Friday free for evictions after that.

There's nothing stopping it launching on a Friday if that's what they wanted to do, but I'm going off the information that the series will be launching on a Thursday as usual, and again I could be completely wrong but this is just how I feel and see things!

Cal. 24-04-2015 07:22 PM

Oh, okay thank you. :)

It's probably scheduled for a June launch then - have Channel 5 themselves ever said it will be a May launch anyway?

Headie 24-04-2015 07:23 PM

Oh so it's just speculation then http://exhalecdn.breatheheavy.com/pu...overitkbye.gif

No, Channel 5 haven't stated or posted anywhere that it'll start in May. I mean it could, and I'm just being too theoretical about this.

T* 24-04-2015 07:26 PM

that being said, Waterloo Road on BBC 1 was getting a 2.63m overnight avg but they still slumped it to a different channel and time slot- It happens!

Like I said, I could be completely off the mark but it's what seems logical at the moment.

Waterloo Road is not BBC's highest rated show though, BB is for Channel 5.

andybigbro 24-04-2015 07:34 PM

That's the day I come back my holiday so is be up for June 4th :D

Will. 24-04-2015 07:36 PM

I'm sticking with the 14th

Jarrod 24-04-2015 07:36 PM

Can I just say before anything, if the launch is the 14th then fair enough. I haven't actually said 100% no. This is all just theory and how I think it stands at the moment. It could change, and launch and that's fine. I just don't want to be bombarded with messages or laughing faces.

No. Work night so a lot of people wouldn't watch

TomC 24-04-2015 08:26 PM

But it could be a Wednesday launch? And they could be doing HL shows on Thursdays and Fridays at 10pm this year...

Mitchell 24-04-2015 10:21 PM

Wednesday has Autopsy scheduled.

Strictly Jake 24-04-2015 10:27 PM

A Monday or Tuesday launch is possible though it can't be ruled out

Jason. 24-04-2015 10:32 PM

Because this early/May launch wasn't true, or hasn't been confirmed, and could well launch in June, like previous years.

I'm guessing that 3-4 week break between BB and summer CBB is to be taken a with a pinch of salt, too.

For all we know, it could be like last year:

BB16

4th June - 14th August
72 DAYS

CBB16

18th August - 18th September
32 DAYS
