Some of these are dreadful.

I suppose it's trying to put the message across strongly, but some are a bit much.

I've been looking for this advert for years.

This used to creep me out, back in 2005/2006.
Such a creepy advert.

Watching it back, it's not that bad.

I think because I was younger, the bleeding from the ears and her sliding across the road made it seem uneasy.

The ad in the OP was shown on TV here LOADS before, it's sad but doesn't really effect me as much as the first time I saw it a few years ago.

^^ first time I saw that it shocked and upset me but I think it was more to do with my mum being a victim of abuse and it brought back memories.

...jeez that's the first time that I've seen that one..I'm never sure with these shock ads, whether they really do send a message effectively because they can just make people not want to watch again and kind of block it and that would seem to miss the point if that happened...

It's not really the effects it feels like a 10 year old thought of the idea and it just comes across as funny in a way for some reason even though what happened was truly tragic.
