:joker: not really, humans and lynx (and wolves!) coexisted just fine in Britain for tens of thousands of years up until very recently, and they weren't wiped out because they were any danger to humans.

...I think the article said Norfolk and there aren't any huge remote areas there that you would really want to think of Lynx running around because a lot of the remoter areas are places where hikers/walkers etc go...I know it's a problem/land destruction etc but is killing, whichever form of killing that is the only way to control it...

MTVN 27-04-2015 02:32 PM

Doesn't sound like they'd be too big a danger to humans but they could be to farmers livestock and particularly sheep

Northern Monkey 27-04-2015 02:49 PM

I could imagine a good few getting shot for killing farmers animals.

joeysteele 27-04-2015 03:01 PM

One of my shortest ever answers,'no'.

When I first Started playing GTA5 on PS3
I chased a Women across the road
from the Petrol Station near the escape hill.

A Lynx arrived
the Women running was in front of me
but the Cat Killed me.

That was a lesson in GTA5 Life.

Wolves are my very favourite animals, would love to see them back here, but humans would destroy them eventually,

Crimson Dynamo 27-04-2015 05:32 PM

The last one in Scotland was killed just before you enter Helmsdale. There is a small memorial.

Aw,that's sad, wouldn't be long before it happened again.

MTVN 27-04-2015 05:48 PM

Was probably quite sad for people in that era to be attacked by wolves as well or see their livelihood destroyed by them

Oh I know but strong ,well built pens etc will keep wolves out , and aren't they afraid of humans? if not , they should be :hehe: but it's irrelevant ,the only wolves we have now are in well built pens.

joeysteele 27-04-2015 07:03 PM

'No' to Wolves as well from me.
