Oh for goodness sake, she was just trying something different to blow up the balloon

With Jade being as open as she is, if she wanted to shock, it would be a lot worse than that - I can't wait :joker:

She will never be more open as she was pumping up that balloon.

Desperate for the attention off the boys and to put her long legs on show because her face certainly isn't what will catch their attention if anything does.

She's very deluded thinking all the guys are after her not seen a more deluded housemate since Sezer.

Her desperation to be the most attractive girl is tragic.

This.
It all seemed so fake and desperate.

Jade is the housemate that keeps evoking the most different reactions from me so far.

Launch night - I thought she seemed bitchy and full of herself

First Highlights show - She seemed not too bad at all, pretty normal girl.

Second Highlights show - Again she came across ok mostly, I did think she sounded like she kept contradicting herself when describing polyamory though. On the one hand saying that she was "free to the bone" and would never want to be trapped in one monogamous relationship and saying she believed people could definitely love more than one person, then in the next breath saying she believed people only had one true love and that she would like to get married someday and that she would then want to be completely monogamous with that one person.

I get that she said this was just how she felt about life at present being young at 24 or whatever and would settle down when she was older. But is that still polyamory? I thought polyamory was like a genuine belief that people lived their entire life by, a true belief that people could have more than one true love, even couples who chose to get married for whatever reason would still believe they could each love others etc. I didn't think it was a word you would use to describe just a "phase" of your life where you were young and not looking to settle down.

By all means, say you are into open relationships not interested in settling with one person as enjoying your youth or whatever, but I don't think it correct to stick the label polyamory on it if it is not a genuine belief system that you want to live your life by and if it's just something you see as something you are just doing in your youth.

I think "I'm a young woman, I have no interest in settling with one person right now so am into open relationships, although I may marry and settle with one person when older" is an honest description, and that describing herself as polyamorous was inaccurate and just a word used to make herself sound interesting but made her look a little bit silly and attention seeking to me.

Last Nights Show - I've become more convinced that she is possibly a bit insecure in herself and keeps saying "I'm beautiful" to convince herself of it. Even if she's not insecure and genuinely is full of confidence that doesn't really bother me either. She's not putting anybody else down or being nasty so I've no problem with her praising herself for whatever the reasons behind it might be.

I do find it extremely cringey to watch though probably because I know the reaction she will get (and has got) from the vast majority of public, I was just thinking "on my god Jade, stop talking, do you realise how bad you are going to come across!?"

Then in the diary room saying she thought Danny fancied her when he seems completely focused on Sarah.

Then in the task, I get why she took her heavy top off, but the leg thing? What the hell was that about?

To me she seems a little bit insecure but massively overcompensates to try to come across as a very confident sexy woman. I'm just not really buying it. It doesn't seem like a natural confidence. I also think she has a bit of a fancy for Danny...

I know a lot of people hate when BB replays private conversations from Diary Room, and I can see the argument why as it is just meddling and makes the housemates less likely to be open in the diary room, but if they played that segment of Jade on video to the housemates where she felt Danny and Joel fancied her etc, it would possibly be one of the most cringeworthy scenes ever in Big Brother. Part of me would find it hilarious  but the other part of me knows that it wouldn't be right to do it.

Have to say though, I don't actually dislike Jade so far. Most of the time she seems like a very nice girl, mostly normal and down to earth, we just then on occasion get these gems that make me feel embarrassed for her but amused at the same time. She hasn't been nasty or mean or bullying or overly bitchy (yet at least) so all in all not too bad a housemate at this stage, one who has some unintentional comedy value. :)

I think as a hm, Jade is proving to be a lot of fun. I'm just so relieved that this year we don't have full on arguments 24/7 - at least yet - and long may it continue. My 2 favourites are Jade and Kieran, and after Cristian's warm up routine, I would keep him in a bit longer too - I haven't laughed at BB so much in years.

I agree. I really like this years housemates. I love the laughs too, they were seriously lacking in some other series of BB!
A lot of the housemates have done little things that have made me laugh but they were completely unintentionally funny, Jade as described, Kieran with his 'Congratulations on your engagement' thing and his voice, Cristian's warmup also made me laugh too, Aaron - when he backed away after Jacks's outburst about cameras and said it's ok enjoy enjoy your carrot mate he just looked like he got a big fright and his expression and comment made me laugh, then later on live feed he was again chatting to Jack and saying he'd take him to all these salons and said " and you can a new hairstyle" Jack replied "I like my hair", Aaron was just like, "erm ok yeah, well you can get a facial ...." made me giggle.
Hopefully the fun continues throughout. :)
