She'll be giving Toya realness when she gets evicted in week 3 against all her rivals as well

Stick to discussing housemates, not forum members, thanks x

Yes you do. You literally praise every single black housemate that's entered the door. I mean there's been a few classic ones, but honestly, it's such a strange reason to like someone.
If Adjoa was white, she wouldn't be your favorite.

We are talking about housemates.

Headie 16-05-2015 12:59 PM

Marlon - 22 and works in Optics

Adjoa - 22 and an international model

Slay mama

You're not though... You're discussing me and calling me strange and bizarre etc.

If I like fierce housemates, then that's my taste. Whether they are black or not doesn't affect my opinion. It just so happens that BB always casts stereotypical black sassy girls, and I am entertained by sassy housemates...

Anyway this thread is not about me or any other members, so can we get back to discussing housemates please.

Kizzy 16-05-2015 01:01 PM

I didn't like Toya and I don't like Adjoa.

aj2463 16-05-2015 01:04 PM

Adjoa looked like she was about to cry and jump through a glass window.. Realness?

Stop thinking it's always about you. There's no rule which states I'm not allowed to pull you up on your opinion, if I disagree with it or do not understand it.

It's not like the housemate were talking about are relevant to the current series anyway. I mean Toya's is so 2014.

I still think you like every black female, regardless. They're always automatically your favourite just after seeing them on the VT or seeing their housemate picture.

When was Pauline ever sassy?

If Adjoa was white, she wouldn't be your favourite. FACT.

Jemal 16-05-2015 01:21 PM

People on here are scared to say it but I dont give a **** tbh.
Most people just liked toya and adjoa because they are black and wear weave.
Also they tend to come across as sassy (i don't see it)

You make a valid point there Jemal

Same. I don't get the love tbh. I have yet to see a 'sassy' housemate in big brother.

Jamesy 16-05-2015 01:34 PM

Toya was only really entertaining for a few days with the whole "Hurricane Toya" thing. Apart from that she didn't really do anything to be loved loads as an housemate.

Sadly there are some people who automatically hate black females just for being black but that doesn't seem to be a problem

I agree.

There has been some classic black housemates, like Makosi and Charley. But, Hayden pretty much loves every single black female. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But it's a such a strange reason to like someone.

I like Adjoa because she's very nice and funny. I think she's one of the few black females who hasn't lived up to that silly stereotype, and seems quiet loveable.

I never said that isn't a problem.
That's racism.

I don't think anyone should be loved or loathed because they are black. They should be loved if they're good housemates or hated if they're bad housemates.

I agree tbh. I supported her during the Week 3 arguments and really wanted her to stay (Ash should have gone :fist:), but for the first two weeks she was a major disappointment.

Sure, she rose back up my rankings in her final week, but clearly it was too little too late for most people.

I don't think it's fair for some to be chastised for supporting black housemates whilst many others do it with other types e.g. laddy HMs, posh HMs etc.

It was aimed at Raph who hates all recruits, and yet goes against his beloved opinion by saying she's the best housemate of the series.

A bit hypocritical. It wasn't a dig at Toya as a housemate.

I do think she's overrated on here though. I like her, but all this Queen Toya malarkey is ridiculous. But, you like every single black female, regardless of how horrible some have been in the past.
For heavens sake, you even like Pauline. Give me a break.

Now that you mention Pauline.
She was a big size woman and she was loved as a housemate,
but Jack gets criticised for his apperance so that is what i'm confused about

Pauline wasn't popular because she was fat, TBH.

She was loved because she was seen as a jolly dancing fifty year old in her VT, who entered last in a house full of 23 year old ruthless fame-hungry models.

Big Brother always cast black girls who fall under the same stereotype. FACT. I happen to find that stereotype entertaining. FACT. Therefore it just so happens that most of my favourite housemates are black females. Aisleyne comes under that category except she's white and she's still one of my all-time favourites

Seriously get back to discussing topics other than me. You are obsessed with discussing other members or something, just don't do it all together. It's not what we're on this forum for.

THIS ISN'T A THREAD ABOUT ME FFS. Why do you find that so hard to comprehend. If you want a discussion with me about me, then post on my wall or send me a message. Posting it in a thread about Adjoa being similar to Toya is just so unnecessary.

Exactly. Jemal, Drew, Brother Leon etc always support the same 'lads' yet people seem to find it funny, but if me, Pete, you etc support black girls we are called strange...

I'm well aware, a Toya quote you used to disparagingly compare Marlon to Adjoa because he only "works in Optics" and isn't a "model". My question remains, because I don't really get the snobbery towards a profession that isn't fame-related.

What are you going on about now. Please explain how the likes of Nick, Joel and Jack are in the category of being 'lads'
