Tom, I refer you back to my previous point. It doesn't take long to notch up 100 useless posts so you can access the 'private' section. You are under the illusion that it is safe in there, but it really isn't.

Also there are people who create multis on here who already have over 100 posts... and people who are permabanned but still friends with people who have over 100 posts.

There's really nowhere to hide.

I respect your right to use a private section, but I prefer the chat thread to be open and available to everyone. If you don't want to use it I completely understand, but try to understand that I (and many others) will use it and would like to keep it. :)

The private lounge is still there though, moving this to the private section would serve no purpose. The whole point of this is to have one that new posters can contribute to.

I don't wish for anything to be closed down in the private section. Obviously people want it and use it.

If someone wants to speak of something personal they could post it in a private chat thread. I think it's a good idea to get the new members to feel more involved and welcomed.
