I think they would only move it that late when Channel 5 believe the ratings are a cause for concern.

The ratings have been lower so far, although not so low that it's a cause for concern, at the moment there is no cause for concern. The only terrible rating so far has been last nights show.

When it gets to below 1 million every night of the week is the time I think we should start worrying about the future of civilian Big Brother.

Its annoying through as I'm really enjoying it so far most seem to be enjoying it also

Yeah I'm really enjoying it too. It's quite frustrating the figures aren't higher. This cast deserves figures like BB14

Personally I do think big brother does need a big break. Not because of the ratings but because reality tv has been drained recent years & the space between c4-c5 wasnt long enough to say it had a break. Celebrity Big Brother is still a gold mine of its own but I wouldnt mind not seeing Big Brother till atleast next election. They also need to really relocate. The stage & the actual 'house' isnt large enough to have decent tasks. Look at BB Canada for an example. The launch twist we could never do that cause house aint big enough. Channel5 will always be BB's new home though & wouldn't want that or the presenters to change.

Maybe after 2018 as that when the current contract runs I agree but I would miss it too much

OP stop being negative and Uniquedude every highlight show has been around 1.1/1.3 since launch so all below 1.5.

Last night got 650k without +1 850K with i believe.

I know but they might go up in the next two months, I'm remaining hopeful.

Well Big Brother may need hour and half on a Sunday instead of a Saturday show.

RyanxAvicii 17-05-2015 06:07 PM

Next Saturday has no hope for more than 0.6m... Its up against BGT and Eurovision... This is why it was moved to June in the first place it's illogical to have it in May, plus this series is very boring so far..

What do we get this year?

1. No live feed
2. Even more twists

A business would go bankrupt acting like that. And a political party would end up worse off than the Lib Dems

they even yet again had a survey asking viewers opinions, and the net was awash with the same sort of stuff with people saying the same things. and they clearly have yet again not paid a blind bit of attention !

It will cost more to axe the show now then to air it

ruiphillips 17-05-2015 07:54 PM

After last years vile series and this boring one, now wonder they've dropped.

That's because they don't care

waterhog 17-05-2015 07:58 PM

i love bb and i am so bored of all other shows - i wish everyone would give it a break.

i mean i don't write a poem on why i don't watch BGT or Jeremy vile every day do i ?

newsbb 18-05-2015 02:57 AM

people need to chill, it has been renewed until 2018 and its doing fine.

854 18-05-2015 04:08 AM

Civilian bb:Yes this is obviously the last season.

Celeb bb: Hell no, that isn't going anywhere. If they run out of celebs, which they won't, because everyone in my generation including myself, wants to be in the entertainment business or an attention ***** of some sort, they can just use past hm or do twists to where they put fake celebrities.

RichardG 18-05-2015 06:26 AM

I really really could not see the introduction of live feed making a significant difference to the overall ratings at all.

mrmattybeck1 18-05-2015 12:22 PM

I think once the current contract for bbuk ends in 2018 it will be rested cbb is fine

People are crying for live feed but where will they have the time to watch it?

At this point you're probably right. There are many things wrong with the show and the live feed will not solve that, but it will at least show that they have started to listen to the fans again.

One of the big problems imo is that they have stuck their fingers in their ears and turned a blind eye to the complaints year after year after year. Any business that responds like that will go bankrupt. I'm afraid the people making the decisions have just got their heads so far shoved up their backsides they refuse to concede the mistakes they've made at all. To give in now, from their point of view, would make them look even dumber after all these years.

When bbuk was on c4 most the time they listened to the fans c5 just ignore us completely

sampvt 18-05-2015 01:13 PM

There is nothing wrong with BB. The big problem is with the constant interference from the prods. Pick the HM's, stick them in, give them grief with well thought out tasks and let them develop the storylines themselves. The numbers will come back as long as people know they are not being used as idiots to support an ever failing experiment.
