The forums have been at decline for a couple of years, but when I joined, the forum was empty (2008), I remember during BB9, the HL thread discussion would have 3 pages at most, now it has a lot more. So in fact, it hasn't been declining for all those years, it's most popular year on here oddly enough was BB11 and BB12.

Not sure if you're talking about this forum or DS. But there is no way DS was not busier during BB9 which was and remains quite a popular series for regular DS users. And one HL show thread doesn't tell us anything.

I look at DS today and it is just stagnant. The busiest thread is the ratings thread where people debate the same issue every day. The most viewed thread is the live feed axed thread.

Well according to my 19 and 16 year old nephews I am sad for watching BB,lol,so I don't think they can rely on a young audience keeping it alive,I am struggling this year to find one to support,I'm usually in there all guns ablazing, but it's not really the BB I started watching way back when Craig won,I have also noticed posters missing,I guess we all move on at some point.

I joined in 2009 and it was pretty busy that year.

BB needs a channel with 24 hour live feed and less manipulation by the prods. Also normal people with no media contacts or famous friends at all.

Crimson Dynamo 19-05-2015 03:25 PM

I work all day and my job requires me to sit behind a computer and I'm not a single mother either ;)

I'm not seeing as many threads this series, it's definitely off to a bad start - the hype isn't there.

Blog Rider 19-05-2015 04:21 PM

But TIBB is just users who have moved away from DS because they want some more fun instead of serious live feed stuff all of the time.

Who mentioned anything about you being a single mother, why are you flagging up things not in evidence. Why cant you just take my posts for what they are, tongue in cheek comments or are you totally convinced I am the devil reincarnated. You seem to jump on me way more often than the others. I am trying my best to keep the posts going and keeping levity on top.

You may have noticed that most of the big characters are missing this year, I am only trying to keep things moving but if you keep jumping on me I will stay away, your call, but please give me a bit more latitude. Rant over.

It needs to be brought to life by bringing back what was the heart of soul of it. Instead, they dug it up from its grave only to have it stumbling around like something out of the Walking Dead for 5 years.

It is being produced by amateurs, on the cheap. And the Celebrity Series has really only had one truly great series, with Davidson. And that was full of problems which had they been addressed probably would have pushed the viewing figures over 4 million.

sampvt 19-05-2015 06:35 PM

I am due to go away this month, if it does not giddyup quick, I am packing my bags and heading down the country to sunny Spain in the motorhome. Im sick of watching that bloody petulant child Aaron ranting and crying. Its driving me nuts, I want to slap him so badly it makes my teeth itch and hair hurt.

For every hardcore fan there is 10 casual viewers who wouldn't watch live feed anyway, the problem is not interesting casual viewers by using twists instead of entertaining housemates plus shows like big brother notoriously lose steam anyway no matter how well the producers cast.

Big Brother 14 sustained a 1.8 million average. That was the year with the live feed.

And casual fans always watched the live feed when there was nothing on. Live from the house got more than some episodes of BOTS. It helps people get to know the housemates better and want to keep up with what is going on with them. Without it, it's impossible in the early stages to get to know them and people just give up.

Excuse me? You quoted my post and made a comment about my personal life and I responded to it. How is that me jumping on you I said I'm not a single mother in a tongue in cheek sort of a way as well, as in I have a husband who also helps with the domestic chores........
