So I think it's more of a sexist thing.

You're an individual person though, you and your friends aren't the million that watch the show.

Although of course you've got the best attitude of taking to whoever you like no matter their skin colour.

Black men have it really hard on BB too, just not as ridiculously hard as the black women.

-Survived over Vanessa in 6-way on HM vote.
-Left to the worst finalist's reception ever including some verbal abuse.

Dawn Blake BB7
-Received coded message that she was not popular and asked to walk.
BB ejected her.

Charley Uchea BB8
-Left when first put up for a genuine eviction.
Has the distinction of being the only HM in BBUK history to
receive 2 hostile crowd receptions.

Latoya Satnarine BBCH
-Left when first nominated. The least popular woman of BBCH?

Alexandra De-Gale BB9
-Ejected after a string of OFCOM complaints

Sylvia Barrie BB9
-Left when first nominated. Evicted with over 90% of the vote.

Very bad crowd reaction.

Gina Rio BB14

Was not saved early, but Sallie was evicted.

-Bookies favourite to win from weeks 3 to 7. Reached final. Came third.

-Evicted in 3-way vote to bad reception.

Adjoa BB16
-Left when first nominated as first (genuine) evictee
Left to mixed reception; heckled during interview.

Mel BB1 - hated because she flirted with men in the house who had girlfriends

Amma BB2 - Was up against Paul so was obvious she was going, anyone other than Brian or Helen would have gone over him, she got unlucky.

Alison BB3 - this was a shock but was seen to be down to a betting scandal as sandy was fave to go until their were reports of the betting scandal to get Alison out.

Adele BB3 - the media backed Jade as she was far more entertaining than Adele, had it been a few weeks before this eviction and these two faced off Adele would have survived easily but Adele was a total bitcj to Jade (her good friend) which lost her a load of votes.

Anouska BB4 - just plain unlucky as was against just males who were popular

I cba to go down the list further but in general it has nothing to do with their skin colour and I'm yet to see one of these women say that is why they were evicted.

JTM45 26-05-2015 05:38 AM

There's far, far more threads started here that seem desperate to find or identify racism than there ever has been threads that genuinely contain any racism!!!

I DESPISE racism but on this forum during every BB i see very little actual racism but many of these 'reaching' threads that seem determined to label things which aren't racist as being such.

It's a real shame that people can't just enjoy (or not, if that's the case!) watching and talking about the show without this recurring and on the whole unfounded subject rearing its ugly head time and time and time again.:bored:

the_answers 26-05-2015 06:33 AM

I liked her, wanted her to stay and admired her for speaking her mind on all things.

But guess she went cos too many were turned off by the pussy thing and some found it over vulgar.

She would still be a Lesbo after Hot Pussy

Note : There is nothing wrong with being a Lesbo

Glenn. 26-05-2015 07:13 AM

Don't quite see what the colour of her skin has do anything. She was dullard who talked about pussy and spread way too much butter on her bread. Dirty boring bread buttering bastard.

If there's no racism involved when nearly every black contestant gets evicted at the first opportunity then you've got nothing to hide and should be able to explain it away in a debate.

After all people are gonna be curious that a pattern has emerged.

because we have at "debated" this in at least 3 other threads Mock

Beso 26-05-2015 07:37 AM

I don't think she would have stayed if she was white as all the other him were white but in all honesty her behaviour would have seen her go anyway.. Brian belo was very popular and even won, but he didn't come across all gangsta...so I agree with you that bb voters may be unintentionally racist and have been saying it for years.

ruiphillips 26-05-2015 07:41 AM

Yes. The reception was due to her crude behaviour, not the colour of her skin.

alex_front2 26-05-2015 10:06 AM

If Adjoa was white
- noone would have a problem pronounciating her name and she would not be called Ebola on BBOTS
- she would be voted most beautiful by public. Let's face it a black girl would be lucky to be voted better looking than Wolfy, Lisa and Lauren bb8, Lisa BB10 (or any unattractive basic white girl let alone plain janes Harriet and Sarah)
- less obnoxious comparisons to men in looks so far Adjoa has been reported to look like Dwight Yorke, Dizzy Rascal and Tyler Blackett (a Man U defender)
- she would not get greedy or untrustworthy tag when no warrented
- less booing and less "get xxxx out "
- less "who are ya" chants in Emma interview (see Heaven, Gina and Iffey/ Gloria)

All the Irish girls are hated too :fist:

Personally - I am fulcing sick to death of hearing and seeing the word 'Racism' -- change the ******* record for God's sake.

alex_front2 26-05-2015 10:18 AM

To GypsyGoth and all those saying "Jade will get worst boos" that is it. Adjoa was nicer than Jade. As entertaining as Jade is, she is rather unpleasant, Adjoa wasn't. A black girl will only survive over a white female if the white female is really nasty. HEAVen BB12 a black woman was sweet innocuous if a bit loopy yet she narrowly stayed in an eviction over a very unpleasant white female hm Rebekka.

Iffey/ Gloria BB11 was lovely yet got booed, and was not the Angry Black Woman the pitch folk mob desperately wanted her to be. That's the point I realised a black woman will never win BB and stopped valueing the show as having a shred of credibility. Sofia BB10 (RIP) was innocuous had 1 row and was labelled an angry black woman, yet the other white women who aregued more didn't get a similar label. A black women can be the nicest/ wittiest/ have best editing/ ticket to final / make the HL show every night and be most entertaining HM and won't get within a sniff of winning. Dullard Sam comfortably beat BB14 "stars" Gina and Dexter summs it up

Adjoa never had beef with anyone the way Jade has with Eileen and Sally n Amy. Rightly or wrongly, Adjoa never gave anyone the "NICK" treatment the way Jade did, Adjoa never discussed nomms the way Jade did, never went on about others bad auras or went on about how beautiful she was. White women can get away with a whole lot more. Google "white girl tears" phenomenon where pretty white female cry and sob when they have done something wrong like be racist and get away with it see Danielle Lloyd on CBB

You could actually apply most of those to the Irish female HMs that they pick as well. I wonder though is it because of the type of black/Irish HM they choose (and there normally is only one, if any) or that it is a bit of racism, I'm not sure

Nope, I got called the N word 2 nights ago, so racism is still alive for me, sorry if it's not an issue for you. Oh to live inyour world where racism is a merely pesky issue that inconveniently is not worth giving a crap about.

bots 26-05-2015 10:34 AM

Well, lets be sensible here. We all have preferences, but it doesn't need to be sinister. Do ginger haired people get treated equally, do bald people get treated equally, do fat people get treated equally ...... by individuals. No they don't, but it doesn't need to be hate or dislike, just a preference over one than another.

One can take all these things to ludicrous levels, it doesnt mean that someone is being actively discriminated against. Thats why laws are very specific in their scope and application with respect to discrimination.

Headie 26-05-2015 10:43 AM

Germyle hun, rule #1 on this forum is don't bring up racial issues. Cause you will get dragged to filth for even mentioning someone's race as being a factor for their eviction, even though it's true.

LukeB 26-05-2015 10:44 AM

I'm 100% sure Jade's reception will be worst
