Not sad at all.

...and it didn't have a single nonce in sight.

As long as you don't read blogs on the matter.

See his point about Joel and whether you should build a certain type of show round him.
But if say there were 13 Joels in there, be nice if he said more about what he'd like to see.

I wonder if the show maybe suffered from a (lack of) mix of different people.
e.g. Chloe and Jack + Joel and Nick bit too alike maybe.

idk why everyone's hating on Chris when he's easily a top 4 BB15 person

He was for sure!
I'm sure if he'd acted like a member of the Geordie Shore cast the haters would have loved him.

But then the same people who hated on Chris for being socially awkward were, for the most part, the same geniuses who supported and voted for Helen Wood to win BB15 the whole time while being guided to support and love the disgusting Helen by the BB production turds.:idc:

I like Chris. He's an amazing artist and he was one of the few decent housemates on that show.

Jay. 04-06-2015 06:11 AM

i'm sorry, HAS he watched his own series?

Cherie 04-06-2015 06:13 AM

He is right this series is beginning to make BB15 look highbrow, pushing the he fancies/she fancies you story lines is straight out of primary school, the psychological aspects of the show are long gone, I think most of them are in bed for most of the day :umm2: and I can't say I am enjoying it very much :bawling:

bb15 > bb16

Lol

The Beckham 2011 beard

The Beckham 2010 hair

I bet he has skinny jeans, loafers (no socks) and a tight fitting suit jacket to go with that look

howver what he is spotting is the change in tv that has been brought about by online and the youtube/vine/snapchat generation

Beetlejuice 04-06-2015 07:47 AM

Chris is 100% correct. It's nice to see someone defend the show for what it once was and could still be. The solutions to the problems of this show are the ones I have tried, in the face of a torrent of abuse (which Chris himself seems to be receiving on this thread), to spell out to people. A return to the older, simpler, less manipulated format. That will need more interesting characters, more coverage to get to know them (24/7 online live feed) and tasks that challenge them rather than humiliate them whilst still being fun. And the producers allowing things to unfold naturally instead of constantly involving themselves because they lack faith in the housemates (as well as the viewers).

The sadness of Marc as far as I can tell (I haven't been watching, just keeping up via the forums) is that this is an intelligent guy who has chosen to swim in a sewage. Why does he reduce himself to this? Does anyone know? Will viewers ever find out? Or are they to be subjected to him telling Sam he wants to rub his face in her vagina for 6 more weeks and that's it? It is tawdry. And it is boring.

Which is doing very poorly in the ratings. It is a change that nobody ever asked for and is to the detriment of a once interesting as well as entertaining show.

Has he at any point defended his own series? I'm sure he would make similar criticisms about it.

Ah I loved Chris :D

I reckon he has either been paid or has been assured that the edits will be manipulated to ensure he wins the thing ala Helen last year.

How do you know he hasn't? And he was just one housemate in a series. Not responsible for it.

you didn't understand what i first posted, it's fine.

Niamh. 04-06-2015 10:18 AM

I agree with him, he was one the best HMs from his series too imo

I did. But it was irrelevant to his valid criticisms of this years show.

You seem to be suggesting that because he was on a crap (and tawdry) series himself he shouldn't cast a critical eye over this one. But he was one of the better and more thoughtful housemates last year.

I'm sure a conversation was had with him before he went on the show as to what was expected from him. For all we know, such conversations are still going on in the diary room.

Pete. 04-06-2015 10:34 AM

My first nomination is Pauline

Tregard 04-06-2015 11:32 AM

Chris is very astute, and was mistreated in his series
