The fact that a woman has been evicted first every year, the fact that black women are almost always evicted at the first opportunity, the fact that Channel 5 almost only casts women who are actresses/models/sex workers, the fact that Channel 5 issued a statement saying that Hazel had it come when Daley almost raped her, the fact that the public sympathized with Siavash when he cheated on his girlfriend because they hated Noirin, etc.

Its women that vote on this show its women that vote each other out . Daly nearly raped Hazel ?. What planet do you live on their was never any rape attempt at all or insinuation your dreaming stuff up now.

Pete. 05-06-2015 10:12 PM

Women do not represent all of the voters lol. It's mainly white women voting out black women then? That's scary

that doesn't change the fact that it's sexist, and in that case self-loathing.

I call it female nature .

The public is obviously sexist when it comes to BB

Is there any point debating to people who can't see it?

Listen, a middle aged white woman went tonight so bringing up racial prejudice says more about you than anything else. Grow up.

only after a black woman went two weeks ago?

Obviously not now that we've got a definitive answer. Thanks,

Look, I'm not getting involved in those discussions. I liked her alot. She shouldn't have gone but you are looking at all her positives without her negatives. The casual viewer mostly saw her talking about pus*y. That's how the edited it. Get mad at them not the voters.

Interesting...you think Channel 5 is sexist against Hazel (female!) in this case?

Presumably, you would be quoting them as racist against Daley (black!) had they taken the opposite angle.

That's very neat. If they're not sexist, they're racist and vice versa!

Of course, all these arguments do is dilute the power of genuine victims of such behaviour.

Had to agree with this-it happens almost every single but people either can't or won't see it. It all seems really biased, especially when you get so many women justifying a woman being evicted and constantly coming out with really weak reasons for supporting some dullard male being kept in.

Only with select people online. If you remember her reaction on final night - and how I'd imagine the general public remembers her - it's far from popular.

And if someone for whom the crowd calling her a 'liar' on finale night was them at their kindest during that interview is your best example of the public liking black women then... oh dear.

Aaron, white male, got booed. He won. Who are these select?

Are you subtlety calling the voters racist?

We're the select. Ask somebody in 'real life' what they remember about Makosi and their most positive opinion, if they remember at all (or actually watched the series) would be the jacuzzi.

Are you trying to suggest that Makosi was popular? Because lawl.

I haven't mentioned anything about black males being discriminated against (have there been any examples, really) so no, I would not have taken the opposite angle. It was very clear that Daley was out of order. HOWEVER,

Channel 5 also suggested that it was a matter of editorial integrity to show the scenes - as it may have impacted viewers' voting decisions - and alleged that Hazel did not appear too distressed by the situation, partly because she did not confide in fellow housemate Dan.

Channel 5 added that Big Brother changed its usual format to show both the confrontation and Daley's eviction in one episode, so that no viewers were left wondering what had happened, but controversially also suggested that Hazel had some responsibility for the incident.

Claiming that Hazel was not a "naive debutante", the broadcaster claimed that she was a "dominant and aggressive force" during the duo's previous playfighting and that she was "fully aware of her feminine charms and was unashamed about using them to get her way".

"The simple inalienable fact is that, but for Hazel's aggressive sexual conduct, the confrontation which results in Daley's eviction would not have occurred - or at least would not have occurred in the way it did," Channel 5 added.
Sorry, but this is a ****ing disgusting and inexcusable stance to take.

Is Makosi or is Makosi not recognized as a BB legend?

Yes. She talked alot of ****e and got evicted. She is still considered a legend so take your outrage elsewhere.

As I seem to remember it Hazel tried to pull his pants down then slapped him on the ass .he retaliated by getting right up in her face and threatening to headbutt her . BB was right to kick him out however Hazel should have almost certainly have been kicked out as well for her part in it . I fail to seen the part of it where daly nearly raped Hazel that you claimed a few posts back your desperately fishing for nonsense to support your stance which is based on pure emotions and not facts.

Macie Lightfoot 06-06-2015 12:01 AM

You also forgot the part where he threw her down on the bed and put his hands around her throat, and Channel 5 puts the blame on Hazel because she apparently said at one point that she likes being choked in sex or whatever  and it absolutely was a potential rape scenario, there's nothing emotional about it. If you can't see that you're in denial.

No rape happened no rape was insinuated its all in your head im afraid

That's the same scene I saw too.

It doesn't fit Macie's agenda though so it didn't happen that way.

Macie Lightfoot 06-06-2015 12:09 AM

I never said any rape happened or was insinuated so that's all in your head.

Daley slapped her bum, she slapped his and yanked his shorts down. There was a point where Hazel said "let's stop this now" but Daley put his hands around her throat, pinned her to the bed, threatened to "finish her," and nearly headbutted her. It doesn't take a genius to see how this could have turned into a sexual assault or rape without BB intervening.

And there's no agenda when Channel 5 literally released a statement putting the blame on Hazel for getting Daley ejected. The sexism in that concept speaks for itself.
