We had the same view where we couldn't see where her hand was/wasn't.

Exactly,it was Harry who made sure everyone knew where her hand was and made out she was doing something whereas Sam said she was asleep ,which she looked to be,if anyone had anything about them they would have QUICKLY covered her up and not been all looking in her direction,the girl must have felt really embarrassed by it all.

...and as it transpired no one other than Harry claimed she saw her doing what she claimed. Danny just went along with it even though he didn't see her doing anything...so everyone else believed it. Christian says he saw her hand there but said she wasn't doing anything else.
Harry just wanting to belittle Sam probably as an indirect approach to get at Marc's buddy..
