For one where did it say BB is supposed to represent the public
Two the public is a diverse population we arent all chavs who just want to be 'normal'
Three speak for yourself the though of Jack representing me makes me feel physically sick the useless toad.

All the more reason NEVER to let that happen again...unless they are entertaining and not radar dodgers.

I forgot fame-hungry housemates like Cristian, Danny, Simon, Joel have been entertaining.

Oh yeah, because Winston was so entertaining last year, too.

The fame-hungry ones are the worst, TBH.

smudgie 16-06-2015 10:46 PM

Woe is me, I am but a normal girl.
Yeah, well I saw the little talk she had with Adjoa on how not to get evicted.
She is playing the game, same as the rest, hence her little speech just after getting nominated.
Not a fan, but good luck to her, a better game plan than being a vile asshole.

Joel has been far better a HM than Chloe has been.

Oh I don't know, I think Chloe has shown vile Asshole-ishness herself at times.

She has all the negative bases covered.

Why not? I am all for big brother going back to basics and BB16 was near to that at the beginning and then they spoilt it!!!

just thinkin 17-06-2015 07:58 AM

thats what BB is supposed to be about....normal people....not egotistical wannabe's who think the world revolves around them and would sell their granny for an agent.

Normal should not equal boring, but in Chloe's case it does.

This, sick of this being brought up when it's absolutely irrelevant.

Because it sets the scene for her character. She is a mid 20's WOMAN not some silly little innocent girl. She has life experience so isn't likely to cry the moment someone says something bad about her.

Simply put, it highlights the play acting she is doing in th BB house

Nancy. 17-06-2015 10:24 AM

I actually like Chloe. She seems sweet and down to earth, but i'm not sure if I'd be happy with her being the winner. She hasn't done enough, but then again, neither have the others.

I disagree. Her dad being a drug dealer has nothing to do with Chloe. If someone called out my mum or dad's private life and said it showed what kind of person I was, then they would clearly not know what kind of person I was. I can't go into detail for obvious reasons, but things have happened in my family which if people knew about may cause them to make similar judgments on me, but I am not involved/don't care or know and while some events may have had some effect on me, have had no bearing on my innocence/silliness/emotional-ness(?) etc. And in Chloe's case, how does her dad being a drug dealer mean that Chloe isn't likely to cry when someone says something mean? How are those two even related?

I'm not saying Chloe is a criminal, I'm simply pointing out that she is not a little girl, she is in her mid 20's and she will have dealt with some very hard times in her life, that make crying the way she has been on the show, clear play acting.

vortex 17-06-2015 10:47 AM

Don't dislike her but I can't imagine her as a winner and she's definitely playing the game, not buying those tears either.

Rorkimaru 17-06-2015 10:52 AM

I think the issue isn't that she's normal but that there is nothing distinctive about her. Like she said, all the others have these talents (though why she singled out Danny in that when he's the most normal lad in there is beyond me). Even normal, everyday people have a distinctive talent or quirk. Some sing, some do amdram, some climb mountains or ride horses. Chloe hasn't had her distinctive aspect show. She's a committed 25 year old who enjoys partying but is looking at settling down with her partner and starting a family. There's nothing wrong with that but there's nothing stand out about it either. It should be a backdrop for a character, not her whole character.

just doing a poem on this one line - the break down is she can not cope and see's everyone else as not normal and game playing - its to much for her - this is why i have respect for her and it would be great if she could get the strengh and do a game plan and change things.

i like her - no proposal poem just yet.:joker:

Most people have dealt with hard times in their lives, but we can't judge on how that's affected them without really knowing them. I just think that it's unfair to judge a housemate based on their pre-BB lives, especially when it's stuff like 'her dad is a drug dealer, therefore she can't possibly be a sensitive person'. That's just coming from nowhere. I'm not saying she is or isn't play acting, but that I don't think that's a valid reason to accuse her of doing so.

just thinkin 17-06-2015 11:01 AM

she's distinctive in that if she see's something she doesn't agree with she says it out - she doesn't wait to 'test the waters' to see how she should play it - she doesn't hold it in because it might make her look bad. She just says it out - she has done this on a few occasions and backed up people when they were being accused in the wrong......thats a lot more important than the 'talent' that is being shown by the other housemates...namely, making politicianlike hand motions, walking on tiptoes, weightlifting a 46 year old child, dressing up in woman's gear and acting like a lady for panto, pretending you can rap.

We will need to agree to disagree as I see it as perfectly valid. Look at all the crap Harry has taken about her life outside the house. Its impossible to ignore facets that shape peoples characters and make them the people they are. I will repeat again, I'm in no way suggesting that Chloe is evil or a criminal in some way, but she does try to portray the innocent little girl where butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, and that is far far far from the reality

Lstan 17-06-2015 11:25 AM

She said the wrong things and I think she was caught off guard.

In her interview she said that this was the one big thing she wanted to do before she goes back to her regular life. She doesnt have any delusions about getting fame off this which, lets be honest alot of people go into BB for. She also said shes a huge fan of the show which is why she entered, she doesnt want any more from it.

I dunno if it was the boring which didnt help but I really think being told she "doesnt deserve it" was what actually upset her. I mean who really deserves to go on BB according to those housemates? The producers put her in so they obviously saw something, and if people dont like her they can vote her out. I think the point she was trying to make was that she is a fan of the show and just wanted the experience, but it wasnt clear from what she said. Shes not a fav of mine but I can understand where shes coming from.
