That's good to know, I'll have to top up on the sun tan lotion when I go outside, wouldn't want to look as red my favourite lobster when I'm making an important speech.

Anyone think we should bring in a new law that bans people from leaving there home if the temperature gets above 30c? For public safety, someone think of the terribly sunbrunt children!

As someone who works outside, this sounds horrific

I love the warm evenings, but the days sound brutal

Where I live on Vancouver Island, it's 5:30pm and 34C. Very sticky and hot, we've had 1 day of rain in the past month. The rest of the week is supposed to range from a 'cool' day of 26C on Tuesday, and 28-32C the rest of the week. It's becoming almost unbearable.

I'm like that too. Hot nights are a pain. All sticky, and sleeping without bedsheets. I don't like sweating at night or when I'm trying to sleep. :nono:

Also extremely hot nights increases the risk of spiders. :worry:

Oh well, being in summer just takes us one step closer to autumn (aka, the best time of year ).

I agree. I love so much about Autumn.

I've been in front of a fan all day so it's been fine. Pity the poor buggers who have to go out and work in it.

I hate to moan about it, but its been awful today. I love sun and heat when there is a bit of a breeze, but here its been so stuffy. I had to sit on a bus that was like a greenhouse and endure about 8 old ladies going on about how the heat may kill them (while sat wearing jumpers and coats ?! ) then when I got to tescos, the cashier was seriously weird. He asked about the weather, which is normal of course...I said it was a bit too hot. He then proceeded to give me a lecture about how it cannot ever be 'too hot' until peoples skin melts off their bones (?!).

Not to do with the sun, but he then went on to tell me that turkeys are so useless, they only get made into shapes for food (this was after he scanned a pack of turkey dinosaurs...) and they don't even lay eggs like ducks and chickens?!

I swear he was high
So yeah...not too impressed with today

I saw one last night when I was watching BB.
It wasn't massive. But it was the same size as a mosquito.

I killed it.

aww, I have the biggest phobia for some reason, use to quite like them - very odd I know. Want to this BBQ on Saturday, and theres was like a 16ft trampoline - very bad condition and this really scary spider crawled out - looked like a black widow, I fell off the trampoline and run.

I'm scared of them too.
I can handle certain ones.

But if they get too big, I will force my friend to kill it. :joker:

I get my nan to get the baseball and wack it! Yeah I don't mind if they have big legs - intact I find that ok as they then look like daddy long legs, but if they have a big body I run a million miles.

Working in this all day is torture, wheres the snow

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 30-06-2015 09:02 PM

Hate it. When you have stuff to do it's just tiring. You sweat and melt and ugh rush hour on the tube is a damn nightmare. Everyone stuffed in there like curing meat but smelling like onions and sweating up a storm. UGGGHH. Thank god it's raining on thursday

AnnieK 30-06-2015 09:07 PM

I've been freezing all day in an air conditioned office, when I left at 5 it was like getting off a plane on holiday. Got home, had a BBQ and have been moaning ever since that it's too hot  My 4 year old is still awake though because he is too hot.....tonight is not going to be fun

Jason. 30-06-2015 09:15 PM

had to cut church grass (I'm not in London this week, at my dads which is in the middle of no where) and it took 5 hours because its such a huge area of grass and have to avoid knocking graves over.
