They cast a bunch of boring gits at the beginning and had to get four out in order to put four more interesting ones in.

Whoever cast the original bunch should be fired and they put the series on too early. Celebrity BB had only finished 3 months prior to this series starting so it felt rushed to soon.

Helen and Marc saved the series for me.

Eh? The casting isn't the problem. It is the abysmal production team.
I think this years cast was quite good actually. As opposed to last year where both the cast and production sucked.

4in4out wasn't needed. Especially so early on in the series. They could've put the 4in4out newbies as new housemates two weeks later on in the series, without the quadruple eviction, which inevitably got rid of 4 big characters.

Timewarp week was nothing but a damp squib, and we got nothing that was offered to us. What happened to the classic tasks we were offered?

Furthering the legends stay by another week was always a bad idea, and putting in Aisleyne (although I adore her) has pretty much made the series UBB2.

Now they've gone on and are planning to put McCririck in (love him too). But there's just no point. I think they're going too far with the ex-housemates.

Not to mention the lack of normal nominations - we've had none whatsoever. And the constant meddling.

This series would've been better if:

They stuck to the Timebomb theme much better
Got rid of silly twists likes 4in4out
Had the legends in for only one week
Normal nominations

If it was up to me, I'd have Marc, Sam, Harry, and Simon entering the house on Day 32, as new housemates, without having 4in4out.

Then two weeks later, on Day 46 I would've had Timewarp week and legends come in for a WEEK only, leaving the house on Day 53.

Then have the last 2/3 weeks back to normal, with just the housemates, and normal nominations and evictions.

Scrap this Back to 80's nonsense.

This series has been a mess.

I do prefer the series to run for longer than this, but with this particular series it has been hard to choose a favourite.

Their disregard for the civilian show is ****ing appalling and I am sick and tired of their obsession with CBB.

Bigger isn't better though, and a lot of the time I find 9-11 weeks to be the perfect length for a lot of storylines to come to natural conclusions. A series like BB13 ended at just the perfect time, and if it lasted 13 weeks that last month would've been completely dreadful.

I think 10 weeks is the perfect length. Like BB5.

Ironically, BB15 had the perfect length. 72 Days. Friday Final. The way it should be.

With BB13 and BB14, they should've ended on Fridays, so they both should've been a few days longer.

Im fine with it ending tbh. I've had enough now.

Same.
I don't even tune in every night.

It says a lot when I find Love Island more enjoyable than Big Brother. :blush2:

Hope bb17 means lessons will be learnt.
