The only message that BB has sent this year is that it's ok to bully Helen.

People have called Helen all manner of horrible things, personal insults etc and they all applaud each other. Not just audience members but panelists and even some psych 'experts' have made some incredibly unkind and spiteful comments about Helen. Far worse than anything that Helen has ever said about others.

But the moment Helen says anything bad herself they all leap on her and rip her apart for it.

It's one rule for Helen and one rule for the others. Such is the totally unbalanced logic of the Hate mob.

For some reason it was 'ok' for Brian to shout personal abuse at Helen, standing over her, pointing in her face whilst having to be physically restrained THREE times

But for some reason it was 'not ok' for Helen to retaliate by saying that the man towering over her, shouting abuse and needing physical restraint LOOKED like a rapist/murderer.

(Rapist was a bit strong but she was half right: he DID 'LOOK LIKE' he wanted to kill her.)

She was made to apologise for her retaliation to his THIRD outburst of verbal and physical intimidation towards her. But Brian was not made to apologise for his THREE outbursts of verbal and physical intimidation towards her! Go figure.

Why? Because Helen has been categorised as 'the bully'. Therefore people think it's ok to throw all manner at abuse AT her. Even if she was 'a bully' (which she isn't) how on earth does it make it ok to be ten times as horrible towards that person?

That's like screaming 'I HATE PEOPLE WHO RAISE THEIR VOICE!'

It has been a shameful display of hatred and double standards towards Helen this year. There has been far more anger and verbal abuse thrown AT her, than there has been from coming from her.
And because BOTS etc didn't even acknowledge Brian's behaviour as being bad or wrong (let alone the fact that HE started it!), and the fact they sided with him as some kind of 'hero' - it means there was blatent bias towards Helen: putting all the blame on her for the Brian situation, and also by repeatedly championing, and never once challenging, the torrent of verbal abuse towards Helen from Aisleyne, Brian, BOTS members etc.

If anyone's been 'bullied' this season, it is undoubtedly Helen.

Marc bullied women and Sam and Simon supported him.

She wasn't hated by all the public, and she didn't claim Belo was a rapist and murderer, most of us know this already, you need to keep up.

Unfortunately it will only drive the producers to bring more of them next series as they are so "entertaining", cause the only way is vile this days.

The show is about psychological game playing against an assault course of 3 opponents ...the other house mates, the public and Big Brother...each one tries to out wit the other with manipulation and antagonisation..its a test of mental strength and control....

Marc did all the above to an art form...he was a total genius at playing the game...he did exactly what he was sent in to do.....he was not a bully...and not one person other than Brian has ever said he is and Brian was actually a liar....they've said he was an irritating nob head, an antagoniser, disrespectful. inappropriate, confrontational, too close to the bone, too boisterous, an idiot and hyperactive...in other words the perfect game player....but he wasn't a bully....he never once threatened anyone with physical violence ..ever...he defended himself against physical violence but he never started it...was Danny who pushed into Marcs face...was Chloe who threw a glass at him...was Aisleyene who threatened to smash his face in and get her dad onto him....was Brian who had to be restrained by 3 of the other guys...
And Sam a bully ?..i urge you to find many people who agree...she was many rubbish things in my opinion even tho i like her...but she wasn't a bully..she couldn't punch her way out of a wet paper bag..neither could Simon...i really dislike simon but he wasn't a bully....

All true!

REDCROP 11-07-2015 01:10 PM

Helen should stick to her column to voice her opinion because on paper it probably makes perfect sense because she speaks the absolute truth most of the time..but her delivery is so wrong face to face that it provokes violence in others...but i still don't think she should be made the blame if other house mates aren't articulate enough to come back at her and instead resort to violence because of their own insecurities....Both Helen and Marc were victims of that...Marc had it from Danny, Brian, Chloe and Aisleyene...and thats because they aren't intelligent enough to match him but instead of accepting him as nick did or befriending him like Sam did or simply ignoring him like Hary did..they resorted to violent aggression....
Bully is a word used too frequently...and the nature of the show makes it hard to really measure it..but physical violence and aggressive threatening is a very clear and measurable thing and the housemates who did that this year are Danny, Chloe, Aisleyne and Brian

BENDERBOY 11-07-2015 01:15 PM

The only bully on the list was Marc, if your idea of fun and banter is constantly annoying and name calling people for your own entertainment then yes the word bully applies.

Helen is in a whole other league of demon.

Simon and Sam and i have to say Chloe are mearly foot soldiers to the dark overlords

uniquedude 11-07-2015 01:24 PM

Sam and Simon were bullies...... ?? Even Marc isn't what I'd consider a bully. Helen yes.
Helen won last year.......

What has fun and banter got to do with it....we're not watching 8 Out of 10 Cats....this is supposed to be about exposing each others flaws, appearing to be the good guy while all the time trying to do the others over and get your stealers on the cash....they are supposed to antagonise each other and challenge each other ..its a battle of wits...and if you can add humour into the mix as you shaft each of the others chances then even better...but this is def not about fun and banter....its a test of someones steel...if they are controlled and intelligent enough to recognise their biggest opponents and play them at their own game without resulting to threats or violence....
It is no wonder the show falls on its face every year ...like Marc rightfully said....they all wanna play Care Bears and that is not the premise of what the show is.....I FIND PEOPLES IGNORANCE ABOUT THE SHOW SO FRUSTRATING...THEYRE KILLING IT FOR THE REST OF US

Marc was an amazing game player......big brother producers wet dream

The mental aspect of the game is lost on many who fall for the appearance of perfection actor wannabe's like Danny try to portray.
Like you state, people's ignorance as viewers is just as maddening to me as watching Danny check which camera is on him before he launches into yet another holier than thou diatribe of useless drivel designed to make him look the hero.

I dont agree but you clearly think they were...that is your prerogative...but what i can not understand is why you have a problem with their behaviour that you see as bullying yet you don't find actual aggressive threats and violent abuse more offensive to watch ...

Who would you rather get on the wrong side of here...Sam or Simon who are manipulative and game players or Brian, Danny and Chloe who when confronted turn violent, hurl misiles around the room and make threats of physical harm

Im sorry, report me for saying this if you want..but i really do think your attitude is dangerously stupid

Bang on mate...its enough to drive you mad....i wish i didn't love BB so much...its the only one i watch..i think its great ...i don't do X Factor, Strictly, Britains Got Talen. The Voice any of em ...i know for sure the idiots who watch it will cock it up and always choose the wrong people...but i love BB..it is a genius concept and like you say, so totally frustrating the way unintelligent people ruin it.

Helens left the building. ........History gone finished Good bye :wavey:

REDCROP 11-07-2015 01:49 PM

I'm not actually arguing but never mind....i really would like just one person who makes one of those sweeping statements to actually back their opinion with some truthful facts..but no one ever does...LOL..
If i say i think someone is aggressive or a lazy housemate or a brilliant game player or what ever, i provide incidents to explain how i came to that conclusion...and some people may agree and some may not...its not enough to say you think someone is a bully unless you can explain why you think so
Personally i don't think Chloe or Danny deserve to win because they have been physically violent and made threats of actual harm to other house mates...i dot believe in rewarding violence in any position, i think they both should have been thrown out weeks ago... I will continue to say that on here until they are evicted...i get a barrage of abuse from their fans because of it, which says a lot ..but non of them can seem to justify how that behaviour is acceptable or able to prove me wrong....they can't prove me wrong, Chloe did throw a glass at another housemate and Danny did push into marks face and threaten him

camertone 11-07-2015 01:58 PM

lol, got it all wrong, poor girl..
