He could have had money several times and declined, he could have got £5,000 like Chloe and Sam, he didn't even take it.
He could have pressed for the near £24,000 but he didn't.

He probably would have liked to win as anyone would who enters BB, however he never demonstrated at all that he wanted the money and never tried to get any of it either.

It was odd to me too that all the other housemates friends and people their own age came on bots to support them during the series...all we saw was joels mother...does he not have any friends or if we did see them would we have got a better picture of the real joel and his cover wud have been blown.
