Same here, completely un-likeable housemate who didn't do anything for me, entertainment wise.

Yeah, it was awful.

Gina being a big part of the show was the only negative I have from the series, the public adoration of her was intolerable most of the time, but apart from that I really enjoyed it.

Emma's first series. :flutter:

Why the Gina shade?

Shaun 19-07-2015 08:53 PM

Meant to click dislike oops.

Dexter and Gina were crap. Calum was crap. Twins were crap. Sophie was crap. Sam was a bit crap and the default winner bc everyone else was so terrible (except Saint charlie who had already been assassinated as 'woman a man has fallen for and thus must be evil' fodder by that point)

Jemima and Jackie were the true winners.

Because I thought she was quite an unpleasant person and totally underserving of the adoration she received.

I prefer a series where one housemate isn't constantly shoved down our throats. Shame, we've had it for the past 3 years now.

Her look was always on point and she made the evictions more of an event at the time. The Wolfy eviction was amazing because of the amount of press attention focused on Hazel's 'inevitable' exit and if she'd get beaten up lol

When was she unpleasant when someone else wasn't unpleasant to her first

Daniel. 19-07-2015 08:55 PM

She was only horrible to Hazel which annoyed me so much at the time, she seemed a caring person deep down though.

One thing I can agree with is that the series felt a bit more of an 'event' than 12/13

It was more how horrible she was, for seemingly no reason whatsoever apart from the whole Daley situation

Yeah, the housemates really were not that great at all

She went around wildly accusing Jemima of racism before even trying to get to the bottom of that situation rationally (and made a mockery of real racism in the process).

After returning from the safe house she acted like a spoilt little diva about Jackie being in her bed (as far as they were concerned, Gina was gone, Jackie did nothing wrong by moving into that bed and certainly had no obligation to move back as soon as Gina returned).

She seemed to be having an absolute ball on the night of the Charlie witch hunt (that one wasn't just her of course).

The "cheap Primark shoes" comment sticks in my mind too. In that case, Sallie did start the argument but that doesn't excuse Gina being a snob and essentially insulting a whole lot of other people too. Wasn't Zoe crucified by the public for perceived snobbery?

Yeah definitely, the live shows were great and Emma was a breath of fresh air (I still love her tho but it's like she's a robot reading a script sometimes now). Hazel surviving those evictions against the odds as well. :clap1:

Messy Jemima went too early though. </3

Daniel. 19-07-2015 09:04 PM

Wasn't Gina taking Charlie's side from what I can remember?

Macie Lightfoot 19-07-2015 09:05 PM

14's the perfect median series. Gina and Charlie were the only enjoyable HMs though for me

Not that I remember, her and Hazel had a rare bonding experience over how shocked and distrustful they were at Charlie.

I'm not saying Gina was the worst that night though, out of everyone I think the twins pissed me off the most during that.

GLENN BILL BB7 19-07-2015 09:09 PM

Gina and Hazel Became fake friends for like 2 episodes turning on Charlie and then went back to hating each other and having arguments just before Hazel was Evicted as I remember.
