I have grown up occasionally referring to some of my pakistani friends as 'p@kis', but as long as racist disgusting bigots like Jack Goody use it as a term of offence, its like living in the ******ing dark ages.

These people are embarrassing their families, their country and unquestionably themselves. Its just depressing to watch.

There's still a few things that I'm not sure about with all this.

As far as I know, the allegation that he called Shilpa a **** comes from when he was lying in bed with Jade and BB bleeped out something he said which even Jade reprimanded him about. The vid of it can be got from this thread:

The article linked at the start of this thread seems to be referring to the same incident but also a different incident! Confused, yes me too. In the article, the guy states:

"Shilpa was reportedly shocked at hearing the comment but she did not respond. Apparently, she deems Jacks remark not worth responding, and very rightly so." He also say that Jacks comments were "You bloody ****" which again would suggest he actually said it to Shilpa's face.

So either the above article has got it wrong (and they are mistakenly referring to the incident when he and Jade were lyin in bed) or another incidence of Jack calling Shilpa a **** has happened. If that has happened, then I don't think it's been shown on telly cos I haven't seen it mentioned here on the forum and I didn't see it on the show. But the article says that BB showed it but bleeped it.

Plus, if Jack did call Shilpa a **** to her face, then I think it's likely BB would have shown it. There would be a massive deal made of it by the housemates, not the least by Shilpa. But we haven't seen that. And if that had happened, why would BB deny it cos Shilpa is bound to report what happened when she leaves the house and BB would be caught out in their lie.

So that all makes me think the article linked at the start of this thread has got it wrong. He never called her a **** to her face and the article is wrongly reporting the incident where he may have said it to Jade in bed and BB bleeped it. The article got their facts wrong.

That means that all we have to condemn Jack as a racist is a video of him talking to Jade at night, side on to the camera in the dark where BB has bleeped the alleged racist word. Now I've watched the video on YouTube a good few times, and I still cannot tell what he says. It's very hard to see his lips, although I can definately say he didn't say "bloody ****" cos his lips don't move enough in my opinion. And I'm still not convinced he said even just **** though, cos his lips just don't seem to move the right way. In fact, I think he says ******, but again, I can't be completely sure.

I could be wrong and he could have said ****. Jade's reaction suggests he said something very wrong, but it could realistically be ******. I'm just not sure enough.

The other thing is though, that BB are denying he said anything racist. They could be lying. But I'd guess that when Ofcom or whatever other official bodies get involved, they have the power to ask for the "unbleeped" version. If he did say a racist term, they will hear it then. So why would BB lie about it? Why lie about it in the first place. I don't think BB has any sympathy for Jack or want to protect him(i think the first eviction was designed to get him out and backfired on BB when Jackiey left)

Finally, about the link that someone put up to an ITV news report. That report doesn't mention the whole alleged **** incident. It mention Shilpa being called a dog and Jackiey calling her the indian but no mention of Jack calling her anything. If it had happened or there was any decent evidence at all, ITV would have included that in their article.

In my opinion, it creates a lot of doubt over whether he said it or not, and before I'm going to brand someone a racist, I need better proof than that. Don't get me wrong, if he said it, he's a nasty little narrowminded ****. And Jackiey's treatment of Shilpa and the whole "the indian" thing was disgraceful and she should have been called on that by Davina or Dermot. But there's just too much doubt around what Jack said and I need something more concrete before I'm willing to brand him a racist.

Unfortunately, name callings happens - even at primary school. One just have to have the courage & wisdom to ignore and walk away. Good for Shilpa - she has that. And Jack - that only proves his intelligence and his gentleman behaviour. He is bitching like a woman as well. He is just a Pretty Boy -for Jade to mummy him around. I bet that they can pronounce all their favourite Indian Takeaway pretty well!!!! Without Jade - he wont be there. They laughed at Shilpa for face bleaching - WHATAOUT Jade's silicones and all the 'renovations' done on her body AND Danielle with that 'natural orangey brown' healthy glow.

By the way, i think Jermaine is great as well. He is a good ambassador for Muslims. He doesnt impose on others but have respect for other's religion, kind and considerate.

As i said in another thread, there is no evidence on what he actually said, if you watch the clip he may have said a word beginning with 'P' and we know there are many nasty words beginning with 'P' in our great english language so, saying he definatley said '****' is just silly. It's the same old thing though, people presume the worst!

And furthermore, i also think BB wouldn't lie and risk yet more flack. There surely wouldn't be any point in trying to salvage the reputation of Jack.

I just think you need some pretty strong evidence before you start branding someone as a racist. It's not a term to be thrown about lightly. And from what I've seen and heard, I'm nowhere near convinced he said anything racist.

Well thats the thing, if he gets voted out now and he hasn't been backed up by BB and rumours squashed, he could get seven shades of shite kicked out of him! People don't seem to warm to racism and as you say it's not exactly something you want to call someone at will, without meaning.

You're right though, he will get one hell of a reputation cos people have already condemned him. If he said it, he deserves all he gets, but if he didn't, then BB really need to clarify things properly before he gets into some real serous trouble when he's back in the real world.

I am suggesting that the treatment of some HMs to Shilpa is very very difficult for some to both interpret, understand & quantify.
We all have an opinion... bullying, jealousy, class, ignorance etc etc.
Calling it racism is just an easy way of excusing the behaviour.
I believe if you asked Germaine or even Shilpa if Jade or Daniella were racists they would answer in the negative.
