A good way to involve your parents would be to go with them, you go into enrolment alone, while they can wander around and have a look at the college.
I'm sure they will be interested to see the environment that you will be living and learning in.

I took my dad with me when I enrolled in college for a part time course. I remember seeing a few people with parents there too, although the whole thing is a blur since it was back in 2010 lol.

If it were a set time thing for a set course then it would be better to go on your own and get to know your classmates for the next year or two or whatever. Although since it's a 'go anytime' affair it doesn't matter if you have parents with you.

Plus you can always tell them to go off on their own for a wander anyway if you get there and want to go through the enrollment yourself.

Fine take your parents. Be that guy that on the first day that people are sizing up future classmates, project mates, future friends, you're the guy that brought his parents and maybe couldn't go out for a drink with the people that already bonded when registering for the same course.

What college did you go to? :laugh3:

Meet up for drinks? It's College not Uni, most parents visit unis with their kids so why not College where they are two or 3 years younger
