I hope it's not pushed back again, even though it was clever of her to put it out next year because of the Adele/JB hype that's going on right now.

Yeah I'm glad she's pushed it back. SO MUCH has been released these past two months - she'd probably get lost in the hype.

Rita Ora is suing Jay Z's record label Roc Nation for allegedly 'orphaning' her without proper support or promotion for her music.

The X Factor coach has filed suit in California, claiming that the Roc Nation contract she signed back in 2008 for five albums violates the state's so-called 'seven-year rule'.

The law in California stipulates that a personal services contract cannot be lawfully enforced beyond a seven-year period - although its standing has been challenged in court often.

According to documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Ora's lawsuit alleges that Roc Nation's expansion into sports management has hurt the music side of its business.

The singer argues that the label prevented her from releasing material beyond her one and only album Ora - and left her stranded at Sony after moving its distribution deal to Universal.

Her lawyers write in the suit: "When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist.

"As Roc Nation's interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives.

"Rita's remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company… Between Sony's limited economic return from its orphaned relationship with Roc Nation and Sony's indirect relationship with Rita, Rita is caught in a political quagmire of dysfunction."

I guess there's now a reason why she's only just coming to release her 2nd album - she was struggling to make music because of their limited resources.

Rita tweeted the rumours are false and she has respect for Beyonce

but still she shouldn't get all the slack while Jay Z gets away scot free from the fans.

Smithy 26-04-2016 08:10 PM

She's hardly gonna tweet "yeah lol it was me xx"

Didn't say that, just saying she tweeted about it after saying she ignores the press normally.. Why would she tweet that knowing someone who knows the full story will call her out for lying?

the fans are just too gullible and need to stop acting like they know the full story,

Jordan. 26-04-2016 08:17 PM

Gross that people are so quick to jump to conclusions and slut shame a woman with no evidence

Smithy 26-04-2016 08:18 PM

Who is gonna call her out that knows the full story? Bey and Jay sure aren't

exactly! Rachel//Rita are getting the most slack over it.. when there isn't any evidence other than some silly lemon photo(which could mean nothing).. getting called all sorts of names for no reason whilst Jay Z gets hardly anything.

Shaun 26-04-2016 08:20 PM

Pete. 26-04-2016 08:21 PM

If she was going to call her out she would have done it, she sure as hell won't do it in an interview it would be a PR nightmare
