lmao it certainly wasn't it was deserved.

Sarah spoke so much sense.

Just out of curiosity- do people think that the Nikki controversy then race row are responsible for the downfall of BB did it just reach it's peak and then a natural decline followed? If it weren't for these things, could Big Brother still be on Channel 4 now?

Spill that tea

EspeonBB 19-08-2015 06:28 PM

If Sarah stayed she would have just continued her showmance with Danny which would have eaten up the highlights and ain't nobody got time for that. Harriet would have provided messy meltdowns and the twins were hilarious, both were robbed :(

Tbh it would have been better if 4In4Out didn't happen in the first place but oh well

It was a combination of Nikki's return/racism row/BB8 female launch which was the cause of BB's downfall imo. I don't think it'd still be on Channel 4 now - it's been insinuated that everyone involved with it hated it towards the end but it possibly could have made it to BB13 idk?

Oaker 19-08-2015 06:29 PM

Then if 4in4out never happened Jade would have gone, it was a lose lose situation tbh

Lmao it wasn't deserved it all :umm2: woman wants to be a LAWYER. She basically might as well have said to him 'It's all your fault that Aaron rubbed his penis all over you' and her saying she would never be sexually assualted as she would make boundaries clear.

She's pathetic and I hope nobody ever has the misfortune of having her as a lawyer

LukeB 19-08-2015 06:32 PM

welp at the Sarah convo again

like the haters bring up Sarah more than the fans do

Daniel-X 19-08-2015 06:33 PM

I brought up Sarah because apparently she was better than Eileen and Jade which is the biggest lie I've ever had the misfortune of reading

Joel had no problem with what Aaron did until the producers made it clear they were taking it seriously - then he spoke about how he didn't like it. Sarah was right in how she said he never set boundaries - he sometimes joined in with Aaron.

How was he meant to set boundaries? Him and Aaron were just pretty good friends and Aaron took advantage of the saturation I don't get how he was meant to set boundaries. It's like me and one of my friends being good mates then one of them sexually harassing me it's just wrong

mmm true. But I would be willing to lose Jade (despite her probably being my fave of the season) in order to see what Harriet and the twins would have done (especially with Marc and Helen in the house - they would not have taken their ****). I didn't miss Sarah or Kieran tho

Pete. 19-08-2015 06:39 PM

The first thing that sprung to mind was the door being left open in the HND

The impression I got from a lot of documentaries/interviews was that Channel 4 saw it as being more hassle than it was worth- there were so many complaints and controversies within just one or two years that some people thought it would damage their reputation if it continued so didn't renew the contracts.

To me it's remarkably similar to what happened to BB Australia on Channel 10- there was a lot of snobbery and even an MP (it may even have been the Australian Prime Minister) said it should be taken off air. I guess BB is a difficult show to produce because it can be so unpredictable- you can either try to contain it and make it more family friendly (like BBAUS 2012-2014- look how well that worked out), or let everything play out naturally and face the tidal wave of negativity from some parts of society and the media when something goes wrong.

How about not laughing about it if you're really trying to make it clear you want it stopped? I'm sure if you were being 'sexually harassed' by a friend you'd laugh at them?

I dont really understand the Amy and Sally love, TBH.

They were also dullards. They spent the first week sleeping early and didn't get involved in any of the fun in the house, and then turned into moody bitches when someone even dared suggesting if they could use their eggs to bake a cake. I mean they got more votes to evict than Harriet, FFS.

The Sally Sausage Broadbent DR>>>>>

Liam- 19-08-2015 06:54 PM

No-one had the right to be pissed off because some people didn't want their eggs to be baked into a silly little cake, if they have eggs rationed between them, then the twins were more than entitled to say no to baked goods if they didn't want their eggs to be used for it.

That's not really the point, though.

They were both sour-faced bitches, who moaned whenever everyone else tried to have fun in the house, and spent what I'd call a good chunk of their time in the house being moody and quite dull, TBH.

They had a couple of loud rows (mainly down to the producer's meddling, lbr), so what?

Liam- 19-08-2015 06:57 PM

Also, didn't they end up baking the cake anyway? so they clearly had enough eggs without having to use the twins' eggs
