Zoella: She videos herself doing makeup, and rose to fame and then ghostwrote a book and is apparently 'celebrity' enough to go on Celebrity Bake Off (which is what scares me about the possibility of her going on)
KSI: I watched like two videos because he was quite controversial and is basically popular for playing sports video games and being sexist

Would be good to get one, wouldn't be shocked to eventually get Niki and Sammy since they're already in bed with C5

Not like a youtuber is less famous than Frenchy/Cami Li/Austin Armacost/Danielle Marr/Courtney Stodden/Bobby Sabel/Georgia Salpa/Jasmine Lennard/Danica Thrall...

They aren't celebrities, they are people who can't be bothered to go out and get a real job and take the "easy option". Plus, I don't want the show to be bombarded with silly little fan girls.

Hmm so spending hours a day recording, editing etc is the easy option? They practically do about 4 jobs in one, surely being a celebrity in general is the easy option if these guys don't wanna go out and get a real job? I bet they're making more money this year than a normal job would pay in 5 years, good on them.

Don't bother pulling the "they're probably getting more money than you" crap... I don't care about the money, I just think that it's a bit of a copout.

I wouldn't mind seeing one go in. People say "no, they're not celebrities!" but at least among the target demographic of big brother these days they're a hell of a lot more known than the majority of the people they stick in the house these days when they're getting 1m+ views per video and similar numbers of followers.

Besides, CBB (and other celebrity shows) is filled with nobodies (+ two or three relevant housemates)

I was just thinking they'd bring in a bigger and newer audience than the majority of reality strs are, I didn't mean have both.
They've done radio shows, celebrity bake off, band aid, may as well just chuck one or two in and see how it goes.
And I think any quite well known ones are more famous for a younger audience than almost all recent housemates

People who are not in agreement with these people being legitimate celebrities need to do a bit of research into the numbers they pull in, the money they make and their slow integration into mainstream media. Speak to anyone in your family between the ages of 9 and 19. They will know Zoella believe me.

Saying that, they ARE massive - but within a certain demographic. I'm not sure taking those follows with them onto a show like Big Brother would be great for the wholesome imagine most of these people like to sustain.

The only viewers YouTubers will pull in are children who are too young to be watching the show in the first place. (Especially with the amount of nudity and stuff that we get these days, it'd make them cry)

Then they'd be annoyed if they get evicted early or don't get enough airtime... :rolleyes:
