I can't speak for anyone else but I took issue with it both times, both because I don't believe in actively hoping for someone to cheat on their partner and because assuming that a gay guy has to fancy his straight friend is downright insulting.

I find both situations wrong tbh, I hate those types of threads and I don't like it when people do that in an argument

Ugh it's like when everyone started "shipping" Harry and Louis from One Direction, except that time was worse because people were actually obsessed and photoshopped them having sex ew, there was a whole programme about it and everything
