-   -   Shilpa fans turning into Bullies? [Disscusion not Bickering] (https://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28794)

I think sadly this is turning into exactly what the thread suggested not to do - there appears to be a lot of beickering going on rather than deabte.

I feel that Shilpa is being treated badly - but more so by the creators of BB than her HMs, Many of them are not actually clever enough to realise they are bullying, bullying is "generally" something that is quite deliberate and directed at the individual rather than behind their back. I feel that the biggest problem is the producers are not tackling the people who are the culprits and letting them see that there are consequences for their actions.

Shilpa appears to me to be a very beautiful, dignified lady who does not really deserve all the things that are being said behind her back. Jade, well what can I say, I like Jadfe I really do but come on she is not the brightest spark is she and I doubt very much she is even aware that people are so disgusted with her actions, she possibly sees them as normal!!!

MWAHHHH Ryan

I just struggle to understand the outrage that is going on when Shilpa herself seems to be taking everything in her stride, now that is class :hello:

Proud moment, I dunno if you remember but it's been a year now since you told me to put on my "eff off face" :)

I know if it was all being done in front of her purposely and trying to be intimidating and trying to make her feel low i would understand why it is called bullying, but most of it is done behind her back , and no that doesn't make it acceptable .

And saying that when Jade was telling Shilpa why she didn't like her it was in a discussion and Shilpa herself said Jade never 'crossed the borderline', and Jade didn't leave it on a bad note she tried to comfort her .

The reason Shilpa gets "upset" is because she can feel a vibe, and in a small house that is hard to get away from, and is also, from Jade and co's side hard to hide...

I also think Shilpa plays it up a bit aswell with the victim act.

The only one I don't really like is Jack and I think the comment about 'do it with ur teeth' was nasty - but I do not think he is racist.

How could I ever forget you - a year my goodness that has flown.

I think that Shilpa was really unaware of what this house would be like and that is what she struggles with more than anything, she is not used to living like this.

Yep , I agree with that too , especially when you think of how big a star she is in her country, she said people stand up when she walks into a room and call her 'Mam' ... For years and years she has been used to being adored and she finds it hard to cope with the fact that they don't.

Well it's perfectly reasonable to expect everyone to treat everyone else with at least some civility, no?

Ofcourse, but everyone knows there's a possibilty there will be a character you clash with, or someone that doesn't like you or you don't like them.

But, because she has been adored for so long, it will be hard for her to get round the fact that she may not be liked.

Yes but many coloured people call their friends n-----r, but if a white person was to say it, they would feel it was used as a derogitory term, because that's its origin. So I don't believe Jackiey's being racist to her daughter, I guess it's a term of endearment when used among friends.Wow this world is getting complicated
