This twist is much different though. The other two is just housemates voting off. Here though it's some complicated sh** of 4 housemates who now know they're the most popular, get to save 4 people with less popularity than them. It's weird and overly complex. It's like production was deliberately thinking "How do we evict Farrah?" It doesn't even make sense. She had the most media attention while on the show so why even do this? The viewing figures plummeted after this.
I don't actually mind housemates voting people off. Just earlier this year Laura Carter narrowly survived being evicted by her housemates and lasting an extra week. In this case though it relied solely on house popularity, so Farrah was never going to survive.
I also hate the twist for mostly bitter reasons, like how Bobby, Sherrie, and Austin ended up making a final instead of Farrah. But I don't feel like I need to since I can still remember how absolutely bewildered I was over such a weak-minded twist. I would much rather have seen the last week consist of Farrah having an outwardly defensive and intriguing perspective on how she views things rather than see Austin bully Janice for half a week.
