why do sharks get to claim all the waters? they should only be allowed specific neighborhoods of the ocean i think...

Shame on you :nono:

You can get spider catchers thatcatch them inside a plastic thingy where you don't even have to touch the spiders, then you just empty them outside and they scuttle off :)

That's what I do. I put a little plastic cup with holes in it over them and they climb up it. I turn it around, put the lid then chuck them out the front door and they waddle off.

Once you're in their water, you're no longer the highest source in the food chain. :)

But did you know it could have left eggs in your room? So they might avenge their mum at some point.

Livia 19-09-2015 10:43 AM

Not down with you killing spiders, AJ.

*stern look*

True ITILYT. But did YOU know that the latest scientific research into spiders has found definite signs that they communicate with each other telepathically?

There was also a report in the 'Science and Nature' magazine last year where a man in Cumbria who stomped on a spider was subsequently over-run with them and badly bitten while he slept by 'False Widow' spiders - the very same species as the spider he stamped to death. He ended up moving homes.

Weird eh?

Oh well done, I done the same with a massive one at work, I ran away from it the first time then the next morning it was just sitting there bold as **** waiting on me and there was no one to help so I had to tackle it on my own and afterward. I was well happy with myself.

It's alright for people that don't have a genuine fear of them to say just put it outside but if your terrified to the point of shaking and sweating then it's pretty much impossible :fist:

So good job Amy I'm glad you got that horrible hairy little ****.

:o Josy, don't encourage Amy Jade

:D Josy, they are minute compared to us. What was it going to do, produce a knife and slash you to bits  It probably came back because it liked you :joker: and you deaded it.

Seriously though I understand people have phobias of them, but they are harmless enough and are probably more frightened of us, I find spiders fascinating, so clever with their web spinning. Maybe a compromise to those with a spider phobia, and ask someone to remove for you :) them rather than kill the poor things.

Josy 19-09-2015 02:59 PM

The.one I killed wasn't minute Suze I could have put a leash on it and taken it for walk

Josy 19-09-2015 02:59 PM

My mother in law lifts them with her hands and puts them on her plants. She says they kill the flies

We're getting loads in atm and they are huge..... I don't like killing them but I just cannot relax if I know there is one in the room.

The whole 'they're more scared of you' thing does not apply to these either trust me.

They do so every time you kill a spider it means in return you get a bit extra fly poop and vomit on your food.

We don't seem to get too many only in the shed and garage, but if any of the family or friends get one ,I am the spider catcher, lol,I always let them go outside,so they probably just amble back,

Kyle 19-09-2015 04:45 PM

Josy I'm gonna telepathically command all the Spiders in Scotland to accumulate in your bath tub.

Tom4784 19-09-2015 04:51 PM

As long as spiders stay in their own goddamn lane they may live, if one gets close to me though it's going to have a close encounter with the bottom of my shoe.
