I abused the privilege so many times, I can only wear daily disposables now for 5-6 hrs tops :(

Hmmm she wears them all the time so I don't know. I hadn't seen in her in glasses for like four years till last year when she got the infection but she wears them every day in school and outside just at home lying around.

My mum for some reason thinks I'll be irresponsible with contacts and said she'd rather just wait till I'm 18 and pay for me to have laser eye treatment

I felt like i've been lied to because I was told i needed them when I could see perfectly fine when I was in year 3 but after I started high school i got told i didn't need them. I never wore them anyway much.

I went and had my eyes tested at the beginning of 2014 because I'd begun feeling myself loosing vision slowly over a period of 2/3 months and one night I was watching telly and everything looked blurry so I told my mum and I went and had my eyes tested turned out I needed glasses.

My eye sight has gone worse since I got glasses though and I needed to et a new pair at the end of last year with a stringer subscription. That was something to do with my eye being stretched when it had grown or something according to the optician though

I reckon if I got them I'd probably end up falling asleep in them after like having them for a week or something. It's probably just habit for her now to take them out though before bed

..that's the thing, I think you think these things/you'll forget about them, leave them in etc...I use to think ..what if I did as well and they rolled back and wouldn't come out and they were stuck inside me/my eyes...but the whole routine of it all just becomes so natural that you just don't forget these things..the same really as you wouldn't forget to brush your teeth in the morning...there are so many types as well..daily, weeky, two weekly, monthly etc and ones which let the oxygen into the eyes so much more healthy and comfortable to wear...

Yes my eye sight is the dirt worst. Will probably be blind by the time I'm 30 knowing my luck.

Yep. I wear glasses and then contacts if I go out, can't see a god damn thing without them

I literally have a dozen pairs of specs around in prominent places when I'm working as I needd them for 'close work' and am always misplacing them.

I don't wear them for anything else but the above and reading.

I really feel for blind people. I cannot imagine life without sight.
