Looking at the trailer, it's nice to see so many familiar British faces still in it despite its sudden success in the States. :clap1:

Marsh. 07-10-2016 02:53 PM

Bryce Dallas Howard though.

Stamper's in it? :amazed:

I understand that shows become big and reach the states but the trailer is more like a HBO americanised show  (i should of seen this coming seen as the christmas special looked like a USA show ), i know they're putting it out there for a wider audience and they're being modern but i was surprised by suddenly moving it from channel 4 to netflix :conf: .

I just hope it's good or atleast half decent with some of the episodes , this time round there's more episodes too not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing but will have to find out . But either way the trailer for it looks trippy which is to be expected so i'm still looking forward to it

Nosedive sounds brilliant, Playtest makes me nervous

zakman440 20-10-2016 08:51 PM

Season 3 available from 8AM tomorrow:

Nosedive is brilliant :clap1:

Headie 21-10-2016 04:31 PM

Can't wait to sit down and bingewatch them :clap1:

_Tom_ 21-10-2016 04:57 PM

I forgot they're all released at the same time, can't wait to binge <3

Headie 21-10-2016 06:03 PM

Omg @ Michaela Coel being in it <3 Why is she just a small role tho. With an american accent :fist:

Headie 21-10-2016 06:44 PM

I really liked Nosedive. It's weird recognising British actors and them having American accents though

zakman440 22-10-2016 01:07 AM

Nosedive :clap2:

Couldn't quite make it through all of Playtest (I read up on the plot and I'm not good with horror at all). Shut Up And Dance may be my new fave episode of Black Mirror though :clap1:

(UPDATE: Just finished watching San Junipero, and that's now taken over as my fave episode )

Samm 22-10-2016 01:53 AM

Nosedive was the weakest out of the first four I watched because of how good the other three were omggg

San Junipero is beautiful, the visuals, the plot the throwbacks of fashion and pop culture ugh loves it, the end of both playtest and shut up and dance all shook me

Is Playtest gory? :worry:

Marsh. 22-10-2016 04:15 AM

Shut Up and Dance has just depressed the sh*te out of me.

Marsh. 23-10-2016 12:30 AM

Actual chills at the end of Shut Up and Dance. So unnerving.

Samm 23-10-2016 01:46 AM

San Junipero and Hated in the Nation are the best two, those killer robotic bees are so scary, I need a series four

From what I read it sounded like it :worry:

Finished the final two episodes. I enjoyed Men Against Fire but I did feel that it was one of the weaker episodes tbh. Hated Against The Nation was fantastic - when I heard they were doing a 'scandi-style detective drama' I wasn't sure about it but they've pulled it off superbly. The bees! The hashtag!

Overall, I feel that Black Mirror's move to Netflix is the best thing that could've happened to it. The bigger budget and the more international scope of it has benefited it hugely imo - you can tell that they wanted to go big with it and they've totally succeeded. If I had to rank the episodes:

Hated In The Nation > San Junipero > Shut Up and Dance > Nosedive > Men Against Fire > Playtest
