This is a really useful thread. One question Josy; Do you actually give actual wicker type hampers with the goodies packed in them? Or is it just a term you use?

I think the image of the gifts you describe actually packed in a hamper is so very 'Christmasy'.

Yes, or sometimes I use different boxes depending on what type of hamper, the car care hamper I use a bucket, that way it can be used to hold everything plus be used as part of the gift for washing the car etc. A tea hamper I use a small tea tray and so on

Boots are having star gifts which are better than half price every week and on top of that fragrance and EB offers of the week which are usually 40-50% off :hee:

This week is was a smashbox contouring kit half price, givency him & hers half price, a Phillips toothbrush down from £2xx to £97 and an Ego trip travel pack, which has mini straighteners, hair driers and curlers

If anyone has a friend or relative thats a TV buff, the I'm A Celeb book that was released last year is in Poundland now, got one for a friend for Christmas! :)

(Am I the only one who has a Christmas bag and shoves anything in there and it will go to someone eventually)

Last year I bought 12 votives from ebay and also bought 2 little Christmas boxes and wax burners (these were only £1 from b&m) and then made up 2 little yankee hampers, wrapped in cellowrap with a bow and they turned out lovely.

Yeah, it's not that exact one, but theres 24 tea lights and then one votive candle for xmas eve
