Actually, I have seen some pretty awful personal remarks and name calling aimed at Kirk. Not by you, I hasten to add.

Maybe he does maybe he doesn't... but the thing is, I can see why Kirk is sick of Serious Debates. And the very fact that you're willing to search and produce a pie chart kind of embroiders my point. I know that Kirk gets quite heated sometimes because he's passionate about stuff, and that's often met with a hail of ridicule and a bit of tag-teaming... and more than once swearing and personal comments. Now I know that's not going to be a popular thing to say, but it happens and I can see why he wants to knock serious debates on the head. it is no place for a grown up discussion.

..seriously this is just going to get silly again...more 'claps' but not necessarily as many snipes, digs and general getting personal/targeting with more focus on agenda than topic...whether that member's opinion be agreed with or not...

..and also accusation of grouping together with opinions, which strangely you and I been close friends on the forum for a long time but don't share the same opinion on many things...

It's nonsense, everyone in there is as bad as each other (except Ammi). If Kirk doesn't want to post there any more that's his business, some of his posts will be missed, but dragging exactly the same stuff into this thread in another section within the first few posts (Livia) makes it all a bit of a farce.
