2.5/6 for the launch (hopefully it'll outrate the Big Fat Quiz on Channel 4)

*mazedsalv** 03-01-2016 09:09 PM

I'll say it will be lower than I said before. 2.3m in my opinion with +1.

Mrmattybeck 03-01-2016 09:37 PM

2.6-2.7m I think generally live tv viewing is down consolated numbers will tell the truer picture

To be honest today has been a good day for CBB promo.

On Twitter Im surprised it's not getting too much of a bad reaction due to the lineup. Twitter has exploded today.

So...

- CBB HM selection leaked by The Sun, Daily Mail and The Daily Star
- Kim Kardashian has tweeted about CBB and how she will watch it, she has almost 39m followers, so that's some great promo.
- Channel 5 at the moment, Best 2015 Moments has had a lot of CBB moments in them.
- 5* has been running repeats of the "Best of BB on 5" shows right now.
- LAD Bible posted the lineup, "who the hell are these people" and the comments on the page were very very bad and how everyone hated BB, BUT they have 11m likes on the page, so any promo is good promo.

So today has been a good one in making people know its coming back.

300 million

VanessaFeltz. 04-01-2016 03:37 PM

3.11m launch
2.7 average

Will. 04-01-2016 03:47 PM

I honestly don't know, it's been getting a lot of promo.

*mazedsalv** 05-01-2016 02:27 AM

Launches:

CBB8: 5.08m (21.9%)
CBB9: 3.54m (16.6%)
CBB10: 2.71m (13.1%)
CBB11: 3.55m (17.0%)
CBB12: 2.83m (15.7%)
CBB13: 3.40m (15.0%)
CBB14: 2.36m (12.6%)
CBB15: 3.27m (16.3%)
CBB16: 2.22m (12.7%)

Honestly don't think it will be anywhere near CBB15. I predict 2.4m. Interesting that despite CBB15 launching at lowest winter, it became the highest ever on C5, despite it launching with 1.9m less than CBB8!!!

Daniel-X 05-01-2016 02:38 AM

3.2 million on launch.

2.9 for series average.

crazycolaist 05-01-2016 06:05 AM

3.01 for launch me thinks

Mrmattybeck 05-01-2016 10:27 AM

3.1m salv think your prediction is way too low

Jake. 06-01-2016 08:57 AM

2.67m (13.2%) exc. C5+1.

RichardG 06-01-2016 08:58 AM

:worry: Isn't that quite low for winter cbb?

*mazedsalv** 06-01-2016 09:00 AM

It got 2.8m incl +1.

Not too bad, down on the previous January obviously but highest rated show on CH5 in 11 months, since CBB15 ended in Feb 2015.

2nd in it's slot beating ITV, CH4 and BBC2.

Jack. 06-01-2016 09:07 AM

I think that rating is alright considering tv viewing figures have dropped a good bit since last years January series.

Agree, I think I read an article that in general from Dec 2014 to Dec 2015, average drop in viewers were 14%.

So, it's plausible.

Jake. 06-01-2016 09:21 AM

2.8 with plus 1

Will. 06-01-2016 09:23 AM

Decent, down like 400k on last years. It was up against Silent Witness and I don't think CBB13/15 went up against it.

Will. 06-01-2016 09:24 AM

Down 300k on CBB13.

Will. 06-01-2016 10:21 AM

Silent Witness got 7M

daniel-lewis-1985 06-01-2016 01:04 PM

Its a decent rating and a huge jump from the summer.

I think this could be one of those series that climbs given the characters in there.

Jamesy 06-01-2016 01:17 PM

Seems decent to me and the share is good.

Didn't CBB13 climb?

neneu10 06-01-2016 01:23 PM

I predict 3.2/3.3 on officials tough

Yeah it's not many shows that are getting great overnight ratings anymore.
