It's got a lovely message Cherie, just a shame it takes so much money to remind people that not everyone has a good Christmas.I'm not poo pooing it really:hehe:

I love the advert, what a sweet and giving portrayed child. The advert is of course about money just like the Coca Cola ads are, but aren't they all. But it also has thought and a message put into it. Christmas is a happy and sad time of year, we should embrace it if we want to but not forget those in need and who are lonely also. I think the advert embraces that quite well.

It's a rather strange concept.

No Josy is unimpressed

Dollface 06-11-2015 03:46 PM

highfive josy

don't get me wrong, the message is nice, but i thought the song wasn't great, the moon thing was silly, they could have done so much better with the whole "give an old person a present this christmas" thing

I'm really underwhelmed also. I've loved most of their Xmas adverts and the last two years especially the bear and the hare which may be my favoruite advert ever. I think this ones pretty boring and it doesn't particularly feel like a Christmas advert

Gawd help us, these Super Adverts bore me to tears. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

No offence to the OP. ;)

No!

What the hell is he doing on the moon? If that little girl really cared she'd be talking to Nasa and arranging a rescue mission, not giving him a telescope so he could see what he was missing back home :conf:

The Hare and Bear one with Lily Allen covering Somewhere Only We Know will never be topped.

I might be reading too much into it, but for some elderly they may as well be on the moon for all the attention their families give them..i.e isolated. And if Arista has his way they will actually be on the moon :D:

Monty was the penguin from last year, I agree with you though that the bear was best

Glenn. 06-11-2015 08:21 PM

It's just not realistic

Why do people wet themselves over these every year

Ninastar 06-11-2015 08:39 PM

i hate it

the last one was amazing but this one is so stupid.

instead of a cheesy lonely man on the moon storyline, why not find a real old person (or a bunch of them) and buy them presents and show them love/attention.
